Do you have two then PRINTMISS?
Happy Birthday to him and enjoy your lunch in the company of friends. Always a pleasure.

Good morning all, it is the other OH's birthday today, and we are taking a few friends out to lunch, looking forward to that. Wet here, the garden is dry, so we can't have everything. Enjoy your days.

Morning all !!

Its bright and grey here in our part of Essex. Oh for a bit of blue sky!

Today is a day where we just put stuff away. All the things from decorating post holiday and all the holiday stuff... I am soooo looking forward to that ( not !!)

A late Good Morning to you all.
Not bad here in Stockport this morning and patches of blue sky.
I think we should have a permanent thread on GN similar to one we had a few years ago " today I have" but this could be," today I went to Dr/hospital/ appt." it would soon reach the 1000 posts.
Sorry in advance to anyone with really serious illness.

PS I will be watching Andy Murray on BBC2 to avoid the football.

Good morning from a grey damp Colchester. More of the same weather. I am fed up with the humidity and high pollen count.
Waiting in for a parcel, new ironing board...excited? Not!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. More of the same today in South Yorkshire this morning. Gosh did we have some rain last night! Fortunately (touch wood) we seem to have got the problem with the offshot roof over our front door sorted out so no more water coming into the hall. DH is watching footie this afternoon, so I am off into town to do some shopping. Hope you feel more comfortable after you've been to the docs, Mick.

It is my ankles , I seem to be Ok but suffer with sweaty eczema on my legs, despite using creams , the nurse thinks being measured for those socks will ease the eczema.

Good morning all.
I think I need some of those socks mick my ankles are so swollen, not a pretty sight.
Could be all the running around after the 17 yr old great niece who is staying with us.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning Mick, morning all.

It rained overnight again in North Leicestershire - the garden is looking very lush. It's overcast so I expect it will rain again.

I am going to attempt to leave the village and go to Sainsbury's. We live in a river valley and it is often a lottery which routes will be passable. This afternoon we have a library management meeting which will probably be the fastest on record as the men are all keen to get into the pub to watch the England - Wales match

You seem to have a season ticket for the gp, Mick, and I don't envy you the socks when it gets warm.
