Apparently the signs say "No Swimming". Perhaps Disney have a lot to answer for. Can you imagine a danger like that being open access in this country?

The warning signs are everywhere. I have been there with my family and to paddle anywhere near where these creatures live is dangerous.

I can't begin to imagine how the parents must be feeling. My mind won't go there.

Leave them alone.

I can't believe you Nonnie1 and Jenty61 !

Why on earth would you want to prosecute the childs parents?

Can you even begin to imagine how they must feel?

Why should the child be "tucked up in bed" ? They were on a family holiday. The child was with his parents. Poor parents can't win can they?

How do you know the child was paddling?

it happened at 9-20pm would have thought that a child that age would have been tucked up in bed! yes I agree the parents should be prosecuted!

I've been to Florida, and seen the warnings everywhere about the Alligators.
It's made clear to all that these creatures live there and are dangerous, so why would they let a child of two paddle in water where they live?

The parents need prosecuting. I feel so weepy over this
