MacSporran needs my assistance. Stuff to price for the village hall sale. So many fabulous bargains! We shall most certainly not return home very much richer (after paying a fee for the table) wink

A glorious day in Kintyre. I'm hoping that the storms haven't caused our Granspals too many problems. So far, we've not had anything more than a fleeting shower.

Until tomorrow. smile moon

Sorry, all the angst had knocked the humour out of me.

soop Fri 17-Jun-16 17:23:23

Galen and Bella You two make a good team. flowers

GandTea Where have you been lurking recently? Us lot look forward to your gentlemanly visits. wink

The notice is in the Co-op post office.

soop Fri 17-Jun-16 17:16:13

harrigran I like your style. grin

soop Fri 17-Jun-16 16:47:09

NanaandGrampy We wish your granddaughter success. Having the opportunity to attend such an event, is going to boost her self esteem. She looks like a champion in waiting. grin

The photographs are delightful. Aren't us lot lucky? I still haven't truly caught up. The match has ended. Andy won. MacS wants help shifting more stuff in the loft. Yet another boot sale in the village hall tomorrow.

As for the downright nastiness on another forum...I cannot understand why a particular poster enjoys being hurtful and downright objectionable. I thank my lucky stars that I shall never ever be asked to spend a moment in her company.

The children in all the local schools have been creating artwork in celebration of the Queen's birthday. Every wall of the care home was covered with their tributes. I've far too many to include here right now. I shall upload three to share with you.

So sad for the young man's family. and friends.
The shock of a death like that cannot be imagined.

harrigran Fri 17-Jun-16 16:26:36

Oh kitty that is dreadful news and brings the past to the forefront of your memories.

soop Fri 17-Jun-16 16:18:53

Sorry...ceiling. Or is it ceiling?

Lona Fri 17-Jun-16 16:18:13

That's terribly sad kitty and of course it will stir upsetting memories. But.... your ds didn't die, so you can be thankful as well as sad ((hugs))

soop Fri 17-Jun-16 16:16:47

number Isn't Luss a pretty location? I can well imagine the midges playing havoc in a caravan. Our utility room celing was black with them recently. We hoover them up.

soop Fri 17-Jun-16 16:12:19

kitty Your news will have upset you for a number of reasons. If I could, I would hug you right this minute.

Alea Pippa and Grace are beautiful. Naturally, Grace feels ever so slightly miffed. hmm She likes being the centre of attention.

kittylester Fri 17-Jun-16 15:21:48

Can I come in for some tlc please. I've been sitting with mum who is asleep and just got a text from DD2 to say that one of their friends died last night. He would have been 35 next week. He had watched the football and then gone to his local for some food, started to cough and went outside where he collapsed. dd is distraught and it makes think of DS1 almost dying when he was 35. sad

Charleygirl Fri 17-Jun-16 14:31:57

It is Grace's house, end of.

rosesarered Fri 17-Jun-16 14:30:24

Just returned after doing a huge supermarket shop ( groan) a quick sandwich and cup of tea and then DGS1 will hurl himself through the door and will stay for a few hours.
So, what sarnies are on offer here? Do I need to make my own?
Cute pics Alea our late cat used to 'own' everything when the DGC came, and would even try and force them off the sofa.

Charleygirl Fri 17-Jun-16 14:26:28

Alea Pippa looks so happy surrounded by her toys. It is lovely for you looking after her for the day- no doubt breaks up the usual monotony. Great for her to get to know you as well.

Such a pity that Grace is showing her jealous streak.

soop Fri 17-Jun-16 14:24:32

Just bowled through the kitchen door. A little late as we've been to visit our pal and do other jobs.
Groceries need unpacking. Cat demands to be fed. A cup of tea in the making. Andy Murray on court.
PLEASE may I be norty and return after his match. I need to catch up with all your news and photos. Big hugs until then. grin

Alea Fri 17-Jun-16 14:18:33

She is 22 months, Charleygirl absolutely enchanting but because of circumstances we do not know each other as well as the boys do. Good chance to catch up.

Charleygirl Fri 17-Jun-16 14:11:59

Alea Grace is merely showing Pippa who owns the house and the littler whipper snapper should not be there at all, especially having the audacity to play on Grace's rug.

Both are gorgeous- how old is Pippa?

Alea Fri 17-Jun-16 14:05:27

Pippa is having her nap.

Harrigran, that could have backfired, see my post re a threesome elsewhere !

Alea Fri 17-Jun-16 13:05:55

gringrin Harrigran!!

Alea Fri 17-Jun-16 13:04:12

Move over Grace! ( not an altogether happy doggy)

annodomini Fri 17-Jun-16 12:40:46

NanaandGrampy, you'd be surprised how inefficient I can be. I have drawers full of correspondence waiting to be either filed or (more likely) shredded. I really need a secretary.

Lona Fri 17-Jun-16 12:26:56

N&G Good luck to your dgd, I'm sure she will give a great performance.
Massive flooding here yesterday some of which I missed while we were at the MR eye hospital. However, my porch was full of water when I got home! Lots of fire engines pumping out at the shops and quite a few cars were swamped. Not good.
Alea hope your dh is ok, and you enjoy your dgd today sunshine
