Jane10 I agree, I have an Activia ( yoghurt) every day, and it has made a difference , no bloating!Plus it's a lovely creamy yoghurt as well.smile

DanniRae Fri 10-Jun-16 21:40:04

Activia sounds like good stuff - so I am going to buy some tomorrow. Thanks Jane10

Lazigirl Fri 10-Jun-16 16:36:41

Why GandT? Don't be a spoilsport. grin

Jane10 Fri 10-Jun-16 16:24:53

Flatulence either way GandTea grin

GandTea Fri 10-Jun-16 15:18:16

Or is that "far***g" hmm

GandTea Fri 10-Jun-16 15:16:56

Jane10, too much information, you should keep ypur sex life private. confused

Jane10 Fri 10-Jun-16 14:35:18

I don't know why Thatbags but Activia seems to have a very positive effect on my digestive system.( Only snag is that it helps with flatulence which is a pity as f*****g is the only sport I'm good at!) Sensitive Grans, I apologise.

I wouldn't say enjoy PRINTMISS, but it was better than I'd expected although way too long at 3.5 hours. I was losing the will to live by then.

Right, have taken painkillers, inhalers X 2, throat spray, rubbed steroid cream into rash and squirted stuff up my nose (all prescribed I hasten to add) I've got a bit of slap on, done the hair and put on my lovely pink shoes and cardi, so as long as I haven't left any vital bits of me unattended I look ok on the outside. The inside? Well....that's a different story! My god, my acting skills are good!

thatbags Fri 10-Jun-16 12:15:43

Oh, right. Medical scanning. I thought it was that but the juxtaposition next to probiotics threw me.

thatbags Fri 10-Jun-16 12:14:44

Oh help! What's MRI?

<heads googlewards again>

thatbags Fri 10-Jun-16 12:13:51

What kind of difference? Really curious, not just hijacking the thread (I did say not just... Sorry, katek).

jollyg Fri 10-Jun-16 12:13:38

Is this the NHS extension of Soops? Hope so.

Can I join please? I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis, and some thing to do with my spine4/5 lumbar?. It took about 6 weeks to get another MRI, and the list to get a result is 10+ weeks.

Is MRI the new panacea to all ills, as dispensed by GPs, instead of antibiotics

Jane10 Fri 10-Jun-16 12:09:35

I don't know what it is about eg Activia but it seems to make a difference to me!

PRINTMISS Fri 10-Jun-16 12:06:22

I feel for you Katek. I felt so ill on Tuesday, the other half called the doctor, and I really do not feel well now, I appear to be shaking inwardly. I do not like the hot weather which plays hell with the sinuses, but I do love the fine days we have had, so we can't have everything. Incidentally did you enjoy "The Boss". My daughter & son in law went, and enjoyed the show.

thatbags Fri 10-Jun-16 11:54:10

Oh, right, live yogurt and stuff.

thatbags Fri 10-Jun-16 11:53:17

What are probiotics?

<heads googlewards>

Auntieflo Fri 10-Jun-16 11:53:15

Can I join you in the grumble corner? I have got two sore knees from standing all Tuesday afternoon. My back hurts and I've got to collect the car this afternoon, (DV.)which means a walk from the bus stop. Oh shut up, and get on with it. smile

Jane10 Fri 10-Jun-16 11:50:48

Give the probiotics a try Katek. They could really help. Meanwhile -moan at will!

vampirequeen Fri 10-Jun-16 11:48:28

A good grumble is good for you flowers

Alea Fri 10-Jun-16 11:28:15

You have a grumble, my dear! Sometimes the physical things affect my mood, sometimes the mood is just what it is regardless.
Have another brew and have a lovely weekend!

kittylester Fri 10-Jun-16 11:26:03

Katek, made me smile!

Some days I get all those little niggles, currently the worst is blurry eyes from hay fever. I'm so glad to be in good health but the little things do add up sometimes and become a buggeration! I've got a dodgy tummy which I think is from taking Vit D but if I stop taking it I'm bound to fall over and break a hip or something. shock

Katek Fri 10-Jun-16 11:18:48

Both myself and my body are grumbling today....nothing major, but all my little niggles seem to have hit simultaneously this week. Back is still uncomfortable from last week's marathon to see Mr Springsteen ('nuff said on that topic), had two visual migraines this week, my post nasal drip/allergies are giving me a nasty, tight throaty cough so I sound like I'm on 40 Woodbine a day, still have dodgy innards from last lot of antibiotics (need to get onto probiotics), my sinuses are tender across my eyebrows and my light eruption rash hasn't quite gone. Sooooo can't be bothered dealing with all this.

We're off shortly for the weekend to see the small dgs - another 2.5 hour drive but with much better destination! Oh and we have to collect a cabin bed with a slide en route.

On the plus side the chest is clear, the panto script is finished, I've bought dgd's birthday present and the optician said I still don't need specs.

Off for cuppa before heading off....mutter, grumble, mutter.....
