I wonder if this has already been implemented somewhere

Elegran, is the cabin easy to access or is it in a quiet corner that you might not see so easily?

I'm thinking they should have a sign telling you who this weeks charity is and an arrow pointing to the cabin!

People need a nudge sometimes !

Our recycling centre has a "reuse cabin" where things that still have a lot of use in them can be placed. Local charities collect and redistribute them.

I went to the tip one day with garden rubbish. There was a man throwing a table and chairs away. The chairs were better than mine at home... and they were being skipped for landfill.

Wouldn't it be a good idea if there was a walk in skip designated to a different charity every week where items like this could be placed. I so hate waste.

Three piece suites chucked in skips that looked perfectly alright to me, seems like a sin to be discarded in this way.

I have been known to exchange things with people before they went in the skip because once in - they can't come out.

I know people can't be bothered to go to charity shops, but they need everything you can throw at them - especially the hospice related charities
