Good morning all very wet here in Devon. Today is my 64th birthday and the first since I retired! No cakes to make this year. Quiet day but out for supper tonight!

Good morning to you all, a little damp here, but not complaining as we could do with the rain - providing, of course that it knows when we have had enough! I am going to a Ladies meeting with a friend this afternoon, not really my thing, but she has invited me to go along with her, she is a long standing member, and I enjoy her company, so hopefully I will have a pleasant afternoon. That is after the ironing has been done, that job is overdue. Enjoy your days.

We've had a short shower of rain, but now it is fair. Tynedale is very dry, the garden could do with some rain. We may be going for paint this afternoon as the decorator is booked for next month and Wickes have an offer on at present.
