Good Morning Friday

Here in Menorca it is cloudy and was raining earlier, with thunderstorms forecast for tomorrow. However, as we're here on holiday for a week with DS1, DiL and our two gorgeous grandchildren I don't care about the weather! It's just so lovely spending time together ?

I did manage lunch yesterday kitty, I had to take anti-nausea drugs but it was a super two hours. With one sister living abroad and the other still in full time work it is very rare we can have lunch together. It was also the anniversary of our Dad's death so I had a thimble of Chianti

Good morning, it is mild at last. Had a 9am appointment with my surgeon, he is pleased with progress so I don't see him for another 3 months.
I now have the horrible virus that is doing the rounds, I have lost my voice and am quite miserable

Beautiful day here in West London. Off to pick son and girlfriend up from Heathrow this morning. The day they flew out it was snowing, happily today the temperature should be just like that in Miami where they have left

Sunny in Liverpool looks like it's going to be a lovely sunny day like yesterday. Grandchildren came down yesterday and might be down today, unless they get a better offer.

Overcast in the Tyne Valley but the sun is trying to break through. We are going out to dinner tonight with some good friends. As my DH is 65 tomorrow we have worked out a little surprise between the restaurant, my friend and myself. He didn't want a party!!

Good morning to you all, it is my daughter's birthday today, and I cannot believe how quickly the years have passed. It was a beautiful morning like it is today as well, so happy memories of a wonderful day. Off to a little knitting group this afternoon, so early lunch then up and away - well, not quite, a neighbour is picking me up. Enjoy your days.

Lovely. Tossed and turned a little last night-had rehearsed The Nightmare Song from Iolanthe last night, very apt!
Off to work til lunchtime with DD1, a pleasant 15 min walk away.
DH seeded the verge outside our house yesterday after said verge had been flattened by endless folk parking on it-White pots round it now to give it a chance. It used to look lovely. . . .
Choral concert tomorrow night so busy weekend and DGS will be 8 on Sunday so his birthday tea is going to be a BBQ
