Good morning, all. Great news, Rosiebee for you and your DH. I know of many men who simply live with prostate cancer, so good luck with that. I'm confused. Came home yesterday - Tuesday, whereas normally I come home from visiting family on a Monday, so am out of synch this week.

And what a lovely morning it is. Yesterday my very DH was declared "officially cured" of his throat and neck cancer. Still have an on-going tussle with prostate but I think that's one we'll have to live with. But at this very moment I can only thank the NHS and all our friends and family, with a very big smile on my face. A very good morning to all. smile

Thank you all for your good wishes. We are making the day special. Grandchildren who are local are coming for lunch and my D and her C are coming from W Sussex this afternoon and a special dinner tonight with a piece of rather pricy sirloin from M&S and all the trimmings so should be good. D is staying until Sat.

Virtual hugs for annsixty He may not have memories but he has the present so a celebration should be had flowers
Slept in this morning and woke aching after an afternoon decorating. More of the same today. We always say we will not DIY again, but we always do.......

Good morning everyone.
The weather in the Tyne Valley is cloudy with sunny intervals. There has been a frost, and everyone is scraping their car windscreens. DH and I are going for lunch later, and then furniture shopping. We need a new sofa, corner group or separate sofas. I hate choosing new furniture. Wish us luck.

Good Morning.

A bright blue sky in N. Bucks at the moment.

I'm off to town with DD3 and DGS this morning and then to craft club this afternoon. Daughter, S-I-L and DGS here for dinner too.

Good morning, Michael! Hope you enjoyed your break. Nice and sunny but cold here in South Yorkshire this morning. Every good wish to you and your DH, Ann; hope you have a lovely day.

Morning !

Its a bright, blue sky day here is our part of Essex.

A trip to the gps and the necessary medication and I'm feeling slightly more human today - where did Easter go?

Ann I'm sorry your day isn't what it might have been but hope you can find a little space and time to celebrate just for you x

Good morning to you all, a bright morning here and out to lunch with friends today, nothing grand, a soup and salad in aid of something. My friend asked us to go with her, enjoy their company. Hope your day goes well Ann, in spite of the problems and I am so glad you have the memories to look back on.

cornergran Wed 30-Mar-16 07:03:37

Morning All. Not the blue sky we were promised in our corner of Somerset. Raining at the moment. Hope for better later. Best wishes to you Ann and your husband, it will be a different day but I hope with some joy. Hope Wednesday is kind to you.
