Morning Mick and everyone,
It's grey and overcast here this morning, but rather that than rain, which we've really had our fill of in Devon this winter!
Helping DD with a stall she's booked at a sale of baby stuff this morning. Hope she manages to make herself a bit of money
Enjoy your Saturday folks.
Morning All
Another grey start in Norfolk, although there is a bit of brightness in the east.
DS is dropping off Boy and Dog this morning so he and DiL can go shoppjng in Norwich. The Big City! We need to de-clutter fast before they get here!
Happy Saturday Everyone.
Good morning everyone
Rather dull start to Saturday here in Wiltshire. DS, DDIL and DGS coming for the weekend so going to be a lovely couple of days ?
Big family get together for DP's 65th Wedding Anniversary tomorrow ?
Morning - dull here too in South Yorks - was hoping husband could cut the grass but might not happen!
Good morning all!
It's grey in my bit of the East Midlands this morning. I have things to do in the village and library this morning and then it's my day to visit mum. I hope to make a curry for tea but that might be sacrificed if the day runs out before I manage it.
Good morning all.
Must report the same dullness here in Stockport.
A weight lifted really with visit to GP. I had been putting it off thinking he would say I needed a new knew and I didn't know how the logistics of that would work. However meds which hopefully will help with what he thinks is a back problem.
65 years loopywhat an achievement, I hope you all have a lovely day.
Good morning everyone.
Grey skies at the moment, I'm with you Indinana anything's better than rain.
Helping GD with homework this morning, pancakes first though when she surfaces, could be lunch time.
Mum's friend visiting her today so I don't need to, bless this wonderful, kind lady.
Happy Saturday to you all.
Good morning to you all, and likewise a rather gloomy start to the day, and if it is anything like yesterday, it will stay that way all day. However, we are going shopping to Sainsbury's and the excitement might well prove too much. Had a lovely lunch out with our dear friends yesterday, not quite where or how we had planned, but sometimes they are the best, AND our help has been requested for a short while at Amberley Museum, something we have missed, and now feel needed (or at least the other half does). Enjoy your days.
p.s. Ann hope the knee continues to improve.
Good Morning!
- only actually grey and "mizzly ".
It is official the bloody birds are starting at 5 a.m. After a disturbed night in which I also disturbed Grace, on the basis that if I needed a wee, so did she, (but she was NOT amused! ) I found it hard to settle back to sleep as I have an Internet shop due to arrive between 8 and 9, so needed to be up and decent. Ocado are often early, and the sight of this granny in her pj's might be too much for the poor young man.
Good thing I did - he's just been!!
I am always rather impressed by people who get their shopping delivered by Ocado. It seems very "posh" ?
Morning all.
You won't be surprised to hear it's grey here in N Kent too.
New bed due for the spare daughter's room today, it's only a small room and is full of her 'bits' so swapping them over will be interesting
Morning All. Yes, grey in our corner of Somerset, dry for now which is positive. Out for a couple of hours this morning then DGC overnight so best wake up and get organised as right now can't see their beds. Hope Saturday is kind to you.
Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. Looks dampish too. Sun did try to peep out but it gave up.
Got a few errands in town today then feet up.
Good morning Michael, and all GNs. Dull and cold, here in South Yorkshire but set to stay dry. Hoped for a bit more of a sleep in this morning as we had a late night babysitting. Woken up by a text alert on DHs b****y phone! Hope you have a good day folks.
Morning !!
Bright but grey here !!
Congrats Loppy have a fabulous day you certainly deserve it !!
Annsixty Ocado price match to Tesco :-) so not as posh or as expensive as you might think
Today is DD2 32nd birthday - our baby has all grown up
Off out for a lovely lunch to celebrate !
Happy weekend everyone .
Posh? I don't think so!

It's not Annsixty!!
Not advertising, but their adherence to delivery times is faultless and as I was in London with DH yesterday at his hospital appointment for an MRI and have a serious engagement with my TV set and oval balls ??? this afternoon, I didn't want to be fighting my way round a supermarket on a Saturday morning!
It took me less than 15 minutes to place the order on Thursday evening and (I can keep an eye on how much it is coming to as I go along. I am less likely to be led astray by reductions or "offers" and I don't have the hassle of the supermarket carpark and (at the weekend) the w***ers who ignore the one-way system or park so badly they render a bay inaccessible. So by 9.30, my shopping is packed away, DH is having a lie in , and me and my cup of coffee are happily ensconced on the sofa with GN
Good Morning.
It is trying to brighten up here in N. Bucks.
A little food shopping to do and then off for a good walk at a country park.
Birthday cake to make for DD1. Red velvet I think.
Today's DT has a comparison of online shopping and Ocado do come out very well, second I think to Iceland!! Not a favourite shop of mine. So I humbly apologise and
I had my first Ocado experience of online shopping recently and was very impressed with both the prices and the delivery time slot. Will definitely be using them again.
I've been using Ocado for a while as I had a free midweek delivery pass. Shopped at Sainsbury's this week, really keeping an eye out for unnecessary items trying to get into my trolley! Was still shocked that it came to £40 more than my usual ocado total. Back online next week, lesson learned!
