Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Dull and grey here today. We have a friend coming for lunch so I'd better get cracking or there'll be no food! Enjoy your day, folks.

Good morning all.
I nearly forgot to post and I don't know why.
A nothing sort of day weatherwise. My afternoon out with my friend, lots of talking takes place.
Yesterday my GD brought her friend with her for lunch, lovely to have 2 very lively 17 year olds here but H who can't take part in the conversations was lost and then quite difficult for the rest of the day. However I must cope with that for the pleasure I get.
Hope your H picks up PRINTMISS

Morning All. Sunny and frosty in our corner of Somerset. Yesterday was so wet and windy. Flood warnings to worry us but all was well. We're in the throes of a sort out. Where does all the 'stuff' come from? May get it finished next week. May not grin. Hope Thursday is kind to you.

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. Not raining yet, but threatening. Horrible yesterday. Managed to get round town double quick because everyone else stayed at home.
Back into town for coffee with a fellow Gransnetter this morning.

Morning everyone
What a complete turnaround in the weather! We have blue skies and sunshine here, such a change from the gale force winds of yesterday - there were trees and fences down all over the place. Fortunately we have garden walls not fences, so no huffing or puffing would blow them down wink.
Well I didn't finish my DGD's bedroom curtains yesterday because my DS rang and asked if I could type up a 10 page document for him - it was a contract, all in dense legalese - and I almost lost the will to live. But it's done, so today I WILL finish the curtains!
Enjoy your Thursday folks.

Good morning to you all, missed yesterdays posting I slept really late! Up early this morning because the other half said he would play bowls, now changed his mind - he is very low at the moment, I think he really needs to get out and about so I will have to do a bit of pushing. Enjoy your days.

Not bad here in Lancashire, enough blue sky to make a sailor a pair of trousers.

Good morning all! It's grey in North Leicestershire but at least it has stopped raining.

Our village had no flooding thanks to having had millions spent on dredging etc of the river. The river downstream however now gets all the water and my journey to Derby was rather convoluted as lots of places along the route were flooded.

Library committee meeting this morning and a visit to Mum this afternoon.

Enjoy your Thursdays everyone sunshine

Morning all. Grey and chilly here in N.Kent, but haven't been putting the morning heating on for a few days now - chunky dressing gown and a good rug instead!

Good morning, thank heavens it's not like yesterday morning ?
No flooding here (on the top of a hill in Wiltshire) but plenty of gale force winds and I couldn't post on GN because it kept telling me message invalid ?

I went into Bath and had the place nearly to myself, I've never seen so few cars in the car park.
