Morning Mick, morning all.

It's cold and bright in North Leicestershire this morning and the forecast is for a sunny day. Today, I am hosting a library committee meeting so I think I'll make a cake for sustenance.

My house looks like a jumble sale, DD arrived home with all her 'stuff' on Saturday so hopefully we will do some more sorting and chucking today

When I came down this morning it was all white outside! The snow had arrived! But already, although there are still snow flurries, it's mostly melted away.

DH is languishing in bed with man flu. Fortunately he comes under the 'leave me alone' category so I shan't need to do much sick room duty!

Good morning to you all, another bright sunny morning here on the coast, but again I think it might be very cold out there. Had a lovely day yesterday, our son brought me a basket of flowers, and he arrived full of beans which is always entertaining. Enjoy your days.

Friday's snow meant one of the refuse vans didn't come but they came this morning so there was a lot of scrambling down drives for those still at home. Some will have to wait 3weeks now.
Eye injection to look forward to tonight.

Lovely start to the day here in mid Essex and we are promised temperatures up to 16 degrees later in the week.
DDIL brought round as part of Mothers Day present yesterday a platter of home baked chocolate brownies, raspberry cakes and scones with a carton of clotted cream. Yum.
