Morning !! Happy Mothering Sunday !

Its a blue sky, crisp morning in our part of Essex.

No visits from DD's today - one came yesterday and one tomorrow . They are Mums too , so this way we all get to celebrate .

However, my husband will be waiting on me hand and foot today ( Im not sure he has read that memo yet!!)

Good morning Michael, and all GNs on this Mothering Sunday. DD and co are here for lunch today. GS has an away football match this morning and they have to travel, so it makes sense as it is on their way back home. Lovely bright day for it too. The wind has dropped a bit; fishing would have been good today.... (Sigh)!

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. No frost here.
The whole tribe are descending for Sunday lunch so I am waiting for 10am to dash to the Coop to top up supplies (3 more coming at last minute)
Nothing better than a chaotic day with DC and DGC.

Good morning all, and happy Mothering Sunday. We have a brilliantly bright sunny morning here, but there was obviously a heavy frost overnight, so I think it might be cold outside. A lovely rose bush arrived from our daughter yesterday, so that has pride of place at the moment. Enjoy your days.

Good morning everyone.
We have a bright sunny start in Tynedale. DS is coming for his lunch. I have stewing lamb so may attempt a tagine! Had a call from DD yesterday to explain why I didn't get a card from her. She bought a pretty one, in a rush but didn't read the inside. The out side said To a Wonderful Mum, when she read the inside it said "on passing your driving test". She took it back to the shop, and the owner found several others mixed in with the Mother's Day cards. He apologised, but it was too late then to buy another. No card from her then! The DGC were cross with Mummy for being so silly!
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all.
I hope today brings whatever you would like it to.
A card to open from D and she has sent me an Amazom e- card so I can go into my wish list of books. S may or may not remember which is par for the course.
Roast beef and Yorkshire puddings for dinner.
It has flaked with snow briefly again.

Happy Mothering Sunday on the sort of crisp (=freezing) Spring Sunday which reminds me of when the DDs were little.
DD1 made up for missing the post on Friday with a massive " bouquet in a bag" of roses, orchids and lilies which arrived yesterday and DDs2 and 3 are taking out to lunch in Walthamstow with the respective in-laws. Even better is that we are being given a lift down from Bedford where SIL3's parents live so I can enjoy a wine and sit back and relax instead of stressing on the motorway smile
Whether with parents/children/grandchildren or not, reflective, sad or content, I hope the Spring sunshine brings you all the promise of sunshine days to come.

Yes, happy Mothering Sunday all. Bright here in N.Kent too. Started the day with 'happy tears' as DD sent me a memory stick full of old (well she si 30 now!!!) family photos from her babyhood. A good blub, a good coffee and now something 'naughty' to eat to get a spoily day underway smile.

Morning all!

Cold and bright in North Leicestershire and it looks as though it snowed overnight.

My brothers and I are going to visit Mum this morning and then a quiet day, with roast chicken, is in prospect.

Enjoy your Sundays sunshine

Morning All. Freezing and cloudy in our corner of Somerset. Out somewhere today but haven't decided where yet. See if the clouds lift. Be kind to yourselves today.

Not light yet in Lancashire, hoping for a walk in the park with daughters and grandchildren this afternoon. Visiting Mum in care home this morning. DH cooking lunch, bless him.
Best wishes to everyone.
