Very overcast, wet and 'orrible in darkest North Norfolk. But no snow. And 4C too - must be the influence of that 'warm' North Sea!

May make a start on clearing the spare room today - I believe there's a bed in there somewhere!

Very cold here this morning. The drizzle is just coming to an end and the sky is brightening. Think we're in for cold, sunny day.
I dreamt last night that I was showing the GC a rainbow, saying "look, you can see where it ends, on the paving slab in that garden over there! Quick, go and see if there's a pot of gold underneath the slab!"
When I got up this morning and opened the curtains, there was the most beautiful rainbow! (Couldn't see where it ended though )

No snow in N.Kent, but icy.

I love rainbows - if I am indoors and aware it is tipping down, but also sunny, I will happily go outside and stand in the rain to get a glimpse of one! They always cheer me up immensely and I like the idea of 'promise' that they bring.

A rainbow went ahead of us on the drive home from work. The drizzle has gone now, and the clouds are clearing. Sunshine and the odd shower forecast. Cold though, 1°c according to the car. I'm making pizzas for lunch today as DS may be coming.

It's freezing here in North Leicestershire but the sleet has stopped.

We are going to see Pixie Lott in Breakfast at Tiffany's this afternoon and then for a meal on the way home. First, though, I have to brave the cold and walk to the village.

Good morning to you all, what a lovely start to the day for those who saw the rainbow - magical! We have a fine morning, but the forecast is for heavy rain later. I think we shall have fish and chips at Sainsburys for lunch (how the rich live) since I am a bit fed up with cooking every day. Enjoy your days. Hope all is going smoothly with you Mick.

Bright day with sharp frost. Little DGD for the weekend. She started singing at 6.30. I thought oh, no, please. So an unusually early start for me. All coming over here tomorrow for Mothers' Day. Story time and craft session at the local library later this morning. Looking after DH as well so bit of a tiring weekend, but lovely to have DGD.

Snow still lying here and I think the outlying roads are very slippery so a day indoors for me. Not that that is any change.

We must have had a sprinkling of snow overnight but there are patches of blue. I can see some full grey clouds in the distance. Hope they're going not coming .

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Colder and hazier than yesterday.
Omid was excellent even with a touch of manflu! A very intelligent man who can gauge the level of the audience. As with most live comedy there was swearing and sexual jokes. Would recommend.

We have little prisms in our windows that reflect rainbows indoors when the sun shines - I love to see the little ones faces when they spot one !

Have already been shopping, visited my parents and am now tackling the washing ?
