Good morning from a sunny north east. Looking forward to my sister visiting, she tells me she has made a pot of soup and a chicken casserole for us. DH is chief cook and bottle washer as well as my carer and a meal delivered to us is a great help.

Hi everyone. It's early evening here in Australia and hope you have all had a fabulous day. Out temperature down here in the beautiful South West of Oz has been around 37C degrees today - or about 100 F. We are very grateful that we have air conditioning in part of our house. When I was a child we never thought about the temp much but, boy, have we changed now that we fit into the pensioner area.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Lovely here in South Yorkshire this morning. May be going to watch GS play footie, but depends on the pitch inspection - it was tipping down all day yesterday.

Morning ! Its a blue sky day here in Essex , long may it last!

At last little dog is showing signs of recovering from his bad back( runs in our family) smile

He may even get a short walk today if the blue sky stays .

Good morning all.
What a nice change to report that it is dry and currently sunny here in Stockport, yesterday was dire.
Quiet day for me,so no change there.?

Good morning everyone.
We had a little rain last night, but not the deluge that was forecast. It's bright and sunny in the
Tyne Valley this morning. I'm attempting a Chinese feast for lunch, but just for 3 of us. I love Chinese food.
Going to the regatta outlet later to look for a warm fleece jumper.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Just looked at the forecast which is wet and windy, but there is not a cloud in the sky atm.
Quiet Sunday here with roast chicken to look forward to. roastchicken

Morning all
It has been raining overnight, but now it's sunny with bright blue skies (I'm not going to think about the 'heavy rain' that is forecast for this afternoon angry)
daffydil, loads of sympathy - do hope you get to the surgery without any more trouble. I have a sliding hernia and am on daily omeprazole, which I'm not happy about, but I've tried doing without it, or even just cutting down, and it's impossible. Good luck flowers

Morning All. Two minutes ago it was dry. Now it's chucking it down, hail rather than rain. Seriously had enough now. Our corner of Somerset squelches. Another storm due tonight. Oh joys. Hope Sunday is kind to you.

ninathenana Sun 07-Feb-16 08:30:53

Sorry Daffydil I should have said I hope you have no further problems till surgery and that it all goes ok.

PRINTMISS Sun 07-Feb-16 08:27:09

Good morning, we had the promised rain overnight, but it is bright now. Not a lot planned for Sunday, except I really must go to collect my bowls from the clubhouse - supposed to do it yesterday, but a big shop rather exhausted us both. WILL do it today. Enjoy your days.

ninathenana Sun 07-Feb-16 08:26:54

Morning all
After the wind and rain of yesterday that continued into the night it's now sunshine and the birds are singing so I'm smile
Have a good day everyone smilesmile

Morning all.
Bright and dry here in mid Essex though we may have had some rain overnight. I spent 4 hours in A & E yesterday with strangulated hernia which is scheduled for surgery in ten days. They managed to push it back or it would have meant immediate surgery. The treatment was excellent and I am just hoping it won't happen again (this is the second time) and the pain is awful.
Anyway enjoy your Sunday. I shall take it easy!

nannotgran Sun 07-Feb-16 08:25:00

Good morning from exceedingly soggy Wiltshire, guess what......it's still raining hmm
It can't be long to Spring now can it? Surely it'll dry up soon?!

kittylester Sun 07-Feb-16 07:09:30

Good morning Mick, good morning all!

It pickled down most of the night but north Leicestershire seems dry now.

Today I have to go to see Mum (who was planning a trip to America yesterday confused) and I have also persuaded DH to come to jl to look at cushions grin
