.....for me it would be not having to get up to pee 3 times a night.

My house to sell for a really good price.

There is of course a lot of misery in the world - but we should not let it stop us being light-hearted at times - being miserable does not help these poor souls and I am sure we all make our contributions to the various relevant charities and do our bit.

To have some willing helpers to assist in packing/clearing the house for my forthcoming move to a much smaller place. I'm feeling overwhelmed by it all.

like others on here - no arthritic joints and no pain [goes together so it counts as one].

and a small second one - all my own teeth with no fillings!!

To retire at 60 .. would only have a year to go. Instead it's seven years!!!

To be able to sleep!

Lapwing Sun 07-Feb-16 10:54:15

JBF I would agree with you. My aches and pains are as nothing compared to the suffering of so many people in the world.

Charleygirl Sun 07-Feb-16 10:52:42

To have the working pain free joints I had in my 30's with no metal inserted.

Not to go to the loo several times a night

Bijou Sun 07-Feb-16 10:47:47

To be able to walk without pain.

littlegran Sun 07-Feb-16 10:36:29

To get back the sight I had 10 years ago.

Juggernaut Sun 07-Feb-16 10:20:43

More will power, well, any will power would be nice!

Cotswoldgran Sun 07-Feb-16 10:12:52

Oh to have the body I had in my 20's, with fully working knees!

janepearce6 Sun 07-Feb-16 10:10:36

That all my children got on better! But, what can I do - absolutely nothing!!

antheacarol Sun 07-Feb-16 10:06:33

it would be to stop pain

grandMattie Sun 07-Feb-16 10:02:47

Night's sleep would be pretty wonderful. Unfortunately, itis DH who really "helps" for the bad nights; probably the least restful bed companion. He gets very sad when I "divorce" for a night or two to get good sleep - so it is for life smile

To be able to give up work completely, but I have just reduced to a two day week which has helped enormously.

Imperfect27 Sun 07-Feb-16 09:46:36

This thread has been an education for me in difficulties that so many people have to quietly bear. flowers flowers flowers

Small thing for me would be enough time to be the hands on granny I would like to be - in a different life I would love to work part time and give my daughter a day each week while she is at work. In RL I just need to get a new job to pay my own bills!!!

Cornergran and Aggie. Read The Effortless Sleep Guide. It's very helpful and full of common sense. You can get from Amazon and is available on Kindle.
