I don't usually buy multiples of things, apart from loo rolls (I get through lots
). The most I'll buy in multiples food wise is those packs of four tins of baked beans, chopped tomatoes and sweetcorn, things like that. I do like to have a well stocked larder - I love to have a wide variety of ingredients for baking, for example. I also have loads of little pots of herbs and spices, all stacked in a wire shelving unit screwed to the back of a cupboard door.
Good Morning Saturday 1st August 2026
What was directly across the road from the school you went to?
Burnham to tell schools in England to adapt teaching to local business needs- what do you think?
Elrel That's even more than I would have bought! But I bet she used them all up! Soups, casseroles, pasta sauce. My DGCs would eat nothing healthy unless it had chopped tomatoes in it.
Would never have thought of ordering loo rolls from ebay, but great idea. Although we have plenty of garage space Mr granfromafar would definitely flip if I did that as I hoard enough already. I always buy multiples of any toiletries and tinned goods when they are on offer too. Thankfully have plenty of cupboard space and hate the thought of down-sizing!
