Congratulations. I can just imagine the family excitement. Just waiting for my grandson to arrive. His first arrival was 6 years ago today!! This year, after having started school in August, his birthday seems to be his main event. We have put our Christmas wreath on the inside of the front door and put up a birthday banner, birthday balloon in the window and filled the living room with birthday balloons. Christmas presents round the tree for him and a birthday corner around a wee buffet on the table. Granny and Grandad will have their Christmas meal on Boxing Day!!

What are we all like about these new GN babies?

I know what Luckygirl means. The baby is inside it's mum for nine months as an unknown quantity. It decides when it's time to come out and then there is this lovely little creature all ready to start living in the real world.

Imogen looks a lot less scrunched up than both my dgs's did.
