I have not given it a thought- a boiled egg or something more up market? I have written 3 cards- about another 40 to go.

I got started early so cards are sent some delivered by hand just a few more to go. I am just waiting for my daughter to get me one present for her son she knows what he wants and presents are bought. I keep putting off starting with the wrapping and no food yet bought. Its all under control.

I don't have to cope - I just carry on as normal and ignore as much as I can.

So come on then, tell me how you're coping with the shopping, wrapping, planning, writing, posting, cooking, cleaning, etc. etc.

Despite my Bah humbuggishness, I AM doing Christmas. So I am also doing the shopping, wrapping, planning etc. And it's going well, surprisingly. I'm only three Christmas cards and three gifts short of ticking those jobs off the list. I noticed that there aren't many Christmas trees left at Waitrose this morning but I'm refusing to give into festive panic and WILL NOT rush out to buy a tree or dig out the decorations until the weekend (that's what it says on the plan). And my usual food and drink shopping frenzy hasn't even begun yet and I'm amazingly calm...
