How many cups of tea do you have a day?

Two cups of gnat's p**s tea a day, and if I go out with friends I have a coffee. Other liquids from water, fruit juice, wine

I have a double size mug of tea first thing. I can't do or think anything before I've had that. Then I might have a single sized one with my breakfast. I have my one cup of coffee mid morning, another tea with my lunch and another in the afternoon. I often have a rooibos about nine in the evening. I wish I could give up sugar in my tea (I only have one teaspoon), but I can't. I don't take it in coffee though - strange. But as I am not overweight and don't eat puddings, I don't think it matters.

Well a modest amount compared to some of you.

So in answer to the op two.

I don't like tea or coffee (or alcohol), so drink tap water. I rarely feel thirsty therefore have to remind myself to drink throughout the day.[boring emoticon]

Mugs here, not cups. I have 2 each of tea and coffee, extra if we have visitors between mealtimes. I also have the odd drink of orange juice or water.

Is it me or are teabags weaker than they use to be? I like a good builders brew about four times a day, but have still to find a teabag that is strong enough. Thinking of going back to tea leaves.

Yes. It's a mild tea. Especially if you only show the teabag to it momentarily.

Erm... Darjeeling is tea, isn't it?

Like Jings, I can't drink tea any more, even though I used to enjoy a strong cup of PG tips. It upsets my stomach for some reason.
I do drink coffee though 4 or 5 mugs a day of instant, Nescafé special filtre, black with a small sugar cube.

I have three or four mugs of Darjeeling. Used o love a good strong cup of tea but it doesn't like me anymore. Have lost my taste for coffee too. sigh!

On average 3 -4 cups of tea and usually 1 coffee for elevenses.

Dpends on the size of the mugs... I alaways have 3 x 3/4 pt mugs of decaaff coffee for breakfast [decaff for my stomach which hates too much caffeine]. Then very weak Indaian tea with a threat of milk in huge mugs all day, probably 5 if I'm home. less obviously if I'm not.

can't take too much coffee though i love the smell.

Has anyone tried "pea berry" coffee. I came across it on holiday in Costa Rica - it is delicous, much softer and more caramel-ey than normal coffee.

5 or 6 mugs of PG Tips a day. I don't drink coffee.

About ten mugs tea daily - I likes tea

I have 3/4 cups of and a cup of coffee maybe twice a week.

So far 3 coffees, 1 diet coke, probably at least 2 more coffees I think.

Today, which is fairly typical, I've had three mugs of weak but proper coffee and two mugs of tea, also weak or at least not strong. I'll probably have another couple of mugs of tea during the remainder of today, or maybe one coffee and one tea.

So, about seven altogether. Plus glugs of water a few times, including during the night.

Probably five mugs of tea and one cappuccino. That's not too bad is it?

3 cups of tea and 2 cups of coffee in an average day...probably more if I'm really honest

I've had 3 so far today, and as I'm popping round to my DD in a short while, I will have another with her. Then from about 5.00 till 8.00 pm I'm looking after my GS2 while my DS goes to see GS1's school play. So I'll probably have cup number 5 there.
Probably won't have any more after that. Well, the sun will be well and truly over the yardarm by then, won't it

I have about 4 cups of tea several cups of coffee and at least 3 glasses of water , no wonder I am up in the night !

Never have drunk tea but I do drink six or seven black coffees each day.

I never drink tea, coffee for me but not even I can manage 12 mugs of filtered coffee at least each day- it has to be M&S from a jar.

In summer I have the odd diet coke if it is very warm.
