Oh, ethelbags, I envy your ability to listen to Christmas music and not be tempted to chuck something at the wall. It drives me mad, to be honest, especially in the shops where the false jollity of the whole thing is just a reminder of the commercialisation of Christmas. There! I've become a grumpy old woman.

as I have been extremely upset by a certain thread today I am listening to some relaxing music, Ive got a Christmas CD playing. Can I ask what other gransnetters favourite Christmas music is. Mine is Wham singing, 'last christmas', also David Essex, 'It was just a winters Tale'.
