Now that really did make me laugh out loud. My DD's ( soon to be ex) FiL is also 88 and in the 25 years I have known him I have never seen him without collar, tie and highly polished brown shoes, I think he goes to bed in them. I can just picture him and his very proper second wife in those onesies.

Turned up early to take Fil out for lunch on Sunday to find him in his onesie. Not just any old onesie, but a reindeer onesie complete with hood and antlers. He's also quite short so the legs had taken on a Norah Batty look. DH and I were totally taken aback-it's not every day an 88 year old slightly saggy reindeer opens the door! At least he was seasonal - he also insists on wearing late mil's pink fur rabbit onesie (yes, with hood and ears) as well.
