The sun is out in N Kent yeay ! First time in four days.
Have to go with DS to the jobcentre this afternoon to see what help he can get now we have a confirmed diagnosis.
Glad everyone's procedures went well and hope those still to come do too

Glad your scam was sorted nannot. I do pay for stuff online - but only large companies I'm sure of. I hate paying by phone. It's a minefield isn't it.
DH is out until after lunch so I now plan a leisurely bath with a good book.

nannotgran that is a worry, isn't it, but pleased you didn't end up out of pocket. Have you got a Paypal account? I try to use that when buying online whenever possible, but not all sellers offer it. It is much safer as you don't have to enter any banking details when buying something and the seller doesn't even have those details, only Paypal. If I can't use Paypal, then I will only order from my iMac computer because it is less vulnerable to hackers and viruses etc than a PC. Nothing is 100% safe, though, sadly.

A most odd morning here in Stockport weatherwise, quite dark still but a yellow sky in the east which I hope is the sun trying to show.

[ hope your DH has a good outcome Whitewave, I had a much better experience with my eye injection last evening than the last time,I had more anaesthetic put in and was left for a longer time for it to have an effect. I have to wait 6 weeks now for scans to determine what happens next. DH has the dentist this morning so I have a morning hanging about as he can't go alone.

Yes I was scammed with my card,frightening but it wasnt for a lot of money and the bank did give it back to me.
I'm not sure what is the best way to pay for anything this was done on line and I dont buy anything online
but do on the phone which I now know is worse.

It's still dark in North Leicestershire but quite warm. I have loads to do this morning but this afternoon my friend and I are off to our favourite farm shop for cakes and tea!

Pleased to hear treadmill was OK!

My DH is having his back sorted today with luck, and should be pain free after they cauterised nerve ends in 6 places. So fingers crossed.
