It's good to see I'm not the only one who feels increasingly irritated by ill mannered, aggressive cyclists. Well done that man.
I recognise that not all car drivers are careful around cyclists (or horses or pedestrians either) but so many cyclists seem to feel that the rules of the road, or even simple good manners, don't apply to them.
Walking dogs, or children
around our local reservoirs is becoming less pleasurable due to the number of cyclists racing along the paths. They're silent but deadly, I've never heard a shout or a bell to warn they're coming and they don't seem able to slow down for dogs or children. To make matters worse, the paths they're using are clearly marked No Cyclists. I don't mind sharing the paths with them on quiet mid week days, providing they show a bit of sense around dogs/children/elderly/less mobile folks but there does seem to be a sense of entitlement. Rant of the morning over.
