Do you, or did you used to enjoy horse riding?

soontobe Thu 12-Nov-15 11:34:05

Heart on sleeve, but I can do stiff upper lip if I have to.

Did you behave well at school?

Bellanonna Thu 12-Nov-15 11:09:20

A couple of months ago.

Heart on sleeve or stiff upper lip ?

shysal Thu 12-Nov-15 08:55:09

yes, but only a very head-up style of breast stroke!

Did you behave well at school?

ninathenana Thu 12-Nov-15 07:23:24

SORRY I thought I was on the last page.

I saw my favourite group Queen. So none.

Can you swim

ninathenana Thu 12-Nov-15 07:20:34

Years !! It's very fine and thin so not a lot I can do with it.

Can you swim

chelseababy Thu 12-Nov-15 06:43:20

I would love to be able to wear high heels again but can't because it hurts my knees!

What group/singer do you wish you'd seen but never did?

Grandma2213 Thu 12-Nov-15 01:27:45

A couple of weeks ago in an effort to disguise frontal hair loss!

Is there something you would love to wear but can't (because of shape, size, confidence etc!)?

soontobe Wed 11-Nov-15 10:32:44

Sounds sad, but doing bits of housework that I havent been able to get to for a while. Is cheering me up, but may not be others' way of enjoying yourself! grin

How long ago since you last changed your hairstyle?

Nana3 Wed 11-Nov-15 08:07:44

Looking after 2 year old GD, so I doubt it.

What are you doing for you today?

chelseababy Wed 11-Nov-15 06:48:49

Yes spent many hours skating up and down our street (on the path) with my best friend.

Will you be observing the two minutes silence today?

Bellanonna Tue 10-Nov-15 22:39:59

Preferably lbs but I can adapt if I have to

Did you have roller skates in your younger days?

soontobe Tue 10-Nov-15 09:37:10

I meant generally, not just microwaving.

soontobe Tue 10-Nov-15 09:36:39

I used to . I used to have quite a few recipes. But now just use it for heating food up.

Do you use kilos or lbs?

shysal Tue 10-Nov-15 09:04:08

He is now my ex, but he was rubbish at anything practical, I did it all, often in a bodge-it way.

Do you use a microwave for anything apart from heating up stuff?

ninathenana Tue 10-Nov-15 08:51:37

I've never made a Christmas pud or cake.

Is your DH/SO if you have one any good at small DIY jobs

Bellanonna Tue 10-Nov-15 08:23:08

I was given a bread maker as a Christmas present by DD2 about 5 years ago. Not long after, she "borrowed" it. That's the last I saw of it.

Have you made Xmas puddings? I no longer do.

Grandma2213 Tue 10-Nov-15 00:46:47

Can't decide between Tomato and Basil or Carrot and Coriander (both home made)

Have you ever owned a bread maker and used it?

Thanks Nana3 but I have no control over the matter.

shysal Mon 09-Nov-15 08:29:44

If it was free and painless I would have the whole works!

What is your favourite soup, and do you make your own?

Nana3 Mon 09-Nov-15 06:56:08

So sorry about your upset last year Grandma, forewarned is forearmed as the saying goes, best wishes.

Grandma2213 Mon 09-Nov-15 01:04:32

I wish for peace and no upset/arguments. Last year was horrendous due to son's ex partners and last minute changes of plan!

If it was free and painless would you change anything about your appearance?

Nana3 Sun 08-Nov-15 09:07:36

The Go Between, L.P. Hartley
It was on the BBC a few weeks ago and now my book club have chosen it for this month. I'm enjoying it.

What's on your Christmas wish list, if anything?

Leticia Sun 08-Nov-15 08:00:52

Old fashioned roses.

What book are you reading at the moment? (Or are do you not have one at the moment?)

loopylou Sun 08-Nov-15 07:19:46

I didn't until I read your question shysal! Now it's Abide with Me because the news is talking about the Cenotaph ceremony this morning.

What is your favourite smell?

shysal Sun 08-Nov-15 06:45:10

Muffin the Mule.

Which tune do you have on your brain at this moment?

Grandma2213 Sun 08-Nov-15 01:16:49

No not now. I used to buy 'Woman' or 'Woman's Own' occasionally when I had some 'disposable income'!

What is the first thing you remember watching on TV?
