Who is the most eccentric person you have every met?

When I shared a house in London a woman stayed with us for a bit, every evening she played herself at scrabble timing each move with an alarm clock. At the time I thought she was eccentric.

Who's the most famous person you've met?

Rudolph Nureyev when I was about 15. He had performed the previous night at The Royal Shakespeare theatre. I had gone with the family to see his wonderful performance. The next day he passed our house in Stratford and I ran outside to ask him to sign my programme. He was very gracious and a delight to meet.

Which famous person would you like to meet?

Sir Richard Branson, he has a house in my locality.

Are you happy with your offspring's choice of partner(s)?

Yes. Both.
When one of my sons was introduced to another sons girlfriend for the first time, he had two words for his brother. Marry her.

Is there anything that you would like to change about your neighbour?

Both sides are friendly and helpful but not very chatty, mum and her neighbour would chat for hours.

Yes I confess to wearing thermals and not only that, I buy small mens as they are warmer!!☺️

What's the best present you have been given?

Earings from DH one Christmas he'd never surprised me with a present before, I'd always had to give him suggestions. He's never managed it since.

Do you watch the sentimental Christmas films on TV. (Chanel 5 afternoons)

No, think about it now and again, but we've never got round to it. They start in November - far too early!

Have you planted any bulbs in bowls for the house?

Yes, hyacinths, pink ones ( I am going through a Barbara Cartland phase

No, too rich for me

Yes, for a treat when I visit my daughter.

No but I have been to Prague

No, I'd never make it.

No, unless there are children around. I have nightmares about DGC falling off ledges, cliffs etc!

No, unless it includes letting GCs win sometimes when they were young.

I have reminder postits all round kettle!
