Hard water... only drink bottled water.

Recycling- done it for years, before it became 'the thing'. Favourite alcoholic drink - sherry.

Only the occasional lottery ticket.

No, don't go to church except to DGC's school services.

Breakfast low fat yogurt with porridge oats stirred in and some mixed seeds from Aldi. Keeps me going all morning

What temperature is your central heating set for today?

Just turned the central heating thermostat to 20 degrees - ice on the pond this morning.

Which birds are visiting your bird feeders now ?

Right now, starlings and sparrows.

Do you use a slow cooker ?

Yes. It's on at the moment

No I don't have a senior rail card.

Do you prefer holidays at home or abroad ?

At home. No battling with airports. Preferably a holiday cottage somewhere scenic.

Do you read a book straight off, or almost ?

I am an avid reader and once I open a book I have to finish it... even if it is rubbish.

Do you prefer a book or magazines.

A book every time. I used to read lots of magazines in my 30s and 40s, but I now find them full of soap stars who I don't know and don't care about.

If you were given £50 to spend on yourself what would you buy ?

Candles !!! Nice scented ones.

Probably jewellery.

Only Easter eggs for GCs and eating them therefore having to buy again.

I don't buy one. DH buys a daily paper so we check that.

Real - I love the smell when you come down in the morning.

All my friends are from school.

Greed! I love my food.
