Good morning to you all, another fine day here too, but rain/showers forecast for weekend, when it is the finals for the bowls competitions. Well, today is the day I worried about yesterday, and the ironing is still there, might get round to that after the shopping. Enjoy your days.

A beautiful day here too! Nothing planned today. I just love this retirement lark. It's very still and I can hear the traffic roaring past on the by-pass. All those poor souls rushing to work. Peace will return in about an hour, but in the meantime I'll just sit and drink my coffee and listen and feel smug!

It's quite bright here in North Leicestershire and the forecast is good. I have a stint in the library this morning and then the cooker cleaning man is coming - yippee! DD2 and her 2DD are coming for the weekend!

I can't comment on the weather here in Stockport as I am still lazing in bed before the day begins, but the CH came on at 6:30 so must be a chill in the air.
We have the "warfarin"clinic this afternoon so I did the weekend shop yesterday, otherwise not much on.
I took delivery of a lawn edger and trimmer yesterday, it is in several pieces so I may tackle putting that together, on the other hand......

Morning all. Rather dull and overcast here in Devon today. Having DGD here for the morning while my DD has a hair appointment - it's a colour job so she'll be a while, but that's fine by me as I love having her here
Then this evening I'll be babysitting DGS2 while his mum takes his older brother to a basketball match. That's going to be a bit more hard work as this little one is quite a handful .

Good morning everyone.
It is dull and rather misty in Tynedale today. The Tour of Britain was well worth going to see yesterday. It was all over very quickly, but seeing all the police motorcycles, and all the race marshals on their motorbikes was great. I have never seen so many in one place. Then all the cars and support vehicles at the end. I am glad we went. No sleep last night so I have gone back to bed for a few hours.

Beautiful day here - hoping for a walk on the common.

Morning, all. It's bright and breezy here in North Cheshire. A good drying day so the first wash load is almost ready to go out.

I am making Rowan jelly, made Turkish Delight Wed, which was way beyond horrible! Any one need some Rose Water???
