I was a tomboy when I was young

I love caravan holidays as long as its a quiet camp site can't be doing with 'entertainment etc'.

I once sang and danced a minuet in a school performance (I can't sing)

I love driving and currently have a Nissan Qashqai

Love swimming preferably in the sea and am most content when I'm near open water or river.

I once made a fairy castle for my eldest daughter's birthday

I have a secret hoard of KitKats even though I live on my own

I love trawling junk and charity shops even though I don't need anymore 'stuff' in my life

As an 11 year old I was rendered unconscious and broke my skull after an accident with a Lifeboat (that probably accounts for quite a lot )

I love singing, classical/choral music and in my dreams I am a modern day Kathleen Ferrier

I've just bought myself a piano - one off those plug in jobs - and am trying to re-learn using my 50 year old music books. I was shocked to find out I got as far as Grade VI back in the day, so there is hope yet...

I eat Ambrosia rice from the tin with large dod of raspberry jam thrown in for good measure

I drive a Honda 4x4 - it replaced the Porsche

I have a vivid imagination and tell porkies

Hi gillybob great thread. Drive ka but got to change it, can only just manage two baby seats in back. Favourite holiday sailing around greek islands in a little boat. favourite past time ride outs on the back of DH motorbike. We've rode round mountains of Northan Spain twice. Usualy though just round beautiful Wales. Hate liver - love chocolate!

I used to play the clarinet.

I love the views from the tops of hills but hate climbing up them.

I have a phobia of the dentist but also have a phobia that if I don't get checked every six months all my teeth will fall out on six months and one day.

I love sponge, jelly, custard and cream but hate them when all layered together in a trifle.

GSOH as they say. Slightly different from other people's. Love a good laugh. Enjoyed reading David Lodge's humour and when reading one once on the crowded train to London I suddenly shrieked out loud . People turned and stared at the man next to me.

I hate pears and rhubarb, can't bear the smell of either

I had a 'proper' mini years ago, loved it, the children grew out of it, very sad.

I love rivers, streams, the sea, oceans - any sort of water (that isn't flooding.....)

I wanted to be an archaeologist or a librarian - didn't quite do either although I love books and live with a very old person .

I adore cruises, especially when they include time in the USA.

I'm only 4'10" tall, but have somehow managed to produce two tall, strapping sons.

My favourite music is 60s Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, really most stuff from that era. As soon as I hear it I feel 16 again.

I have an odd fear of fire engines. I don't just pull over when I hear one but I try and turn off the road completely. And I turn the radio up to drown out the sound (never works of course).

I don't like pizza.
