A couple of things you might not know about me.......

This has cheered me up no end. Thank you everyone. All these little nuggets of new information make me feel like I know you all a whole lot better.

I am well impressed.

I used to play guitar

I didn't take 'O' Level Maths until I was 37 - the last year they were set, before being replaced by GCSEs.

I was the best cartwheeler in my year at school

My earliest memory is of being in the pram at around 9 or 10 mths old (my mother said I must have been about this age because the memory is of lying down while she lifted my feet up to get the gripe water from under the mattress - any older and I wouldn't have been lying, but sitting)

I had to appear in court aged 11 charged with trespassing on railway property . My friend and I had been sitting on the grassy embankment having a picnic when PC Plod came along and took our names and addresses and told us we were trespassing

I made my wedding dress, my veil, and all my bridesmaids' dresses.

I locked myself in the bathroom and cut all my hair off aged 18 after a disastrous perm and had to wear a wig till it grew back

I failed the eleven plus.
I received a gold medal for highest marks in the state final exams in nursing.
I have a chauffeur who drives the Mercedes GL 350.
I hate dogs, love cats but can't have pets because the whole family are allergic.
I am completely tone deaf but gave birth to a DD who has perfect pitch
Love good food.
Drink only pink champagne.

I drive a Peugueot convertible which I love it is 14 years old impractical,uneconomical and a bit beat up ( like me I think)
Since my 60th birthday I have kept a diary.
I love natural youghurt

I drive a (rather old) Mercedes SLK called Iris, because of her colour.

I have the most horrendous cellulite on my thighs and bottom

I am a champion list maker and procrastinator.

I hate mirrors, they don't show what I feel.

I have started striking up conversations with strangers in the queue at supermarkets, even though I used to hate it when people did that to me when I was younger.

I drive a Fiat 500 it is white with Italian stripes down the side.
I used to have a mini but prefer the Fiat especially as it's ??0 road tax
I have been to couture dressmaking classes for years but still make loads of mistakes.
I am veggie and my favourite food is cheese accompanied with dry white wine

I can`t drive, but would love a new Toyota Yaris if I could.

Wow, Jingl - I used to have a Raleigh All Steel with solid metal brake cables. I loved that bike, it went like the wind - downhill.

oh - and my ambition also is to make friends with become obsessed with my Fitbit.

My ambition is to stand on one leg with my eyes shut for ten whole seconds.

I have rediscovered homemade macaroni milk pudding.

I ride a 1973 Raleigh ladies bike (one owner)

I had my toe nails painted for the first time in my life a month ago. Now have beautiful trotters.

I can't drive any more due to health but am a wizz on my "Madge' (disability scooter)

Hate the dentist.

Want my ashes scattered at either Weymouth or Tenerife , whichever is warmest for hubby to have a holiday.

My only education certificates are RSA in English and Typing and so if I am perceived as a 'smart ass' it's not because I am educationally clever just a bolshy old moo.
