Someone recently posted – possibly on the drunken consent/rape thread that internet pornography is "more difficult" to access these days. I admit that I have never tried to access pornography, although I have inadvertently, once or twice, found myself on websites where I had never intended to go. I also understand that what is termed hard porn – and certainly the really nasty, illegal stuff involving children, for instance – has to be paid for.
I just wanted to say that about a year, maybe 18 months ago, I read an article by a secondary school teacher who handled social studies which included discussing sexual, among other relationships. He asked his class to list all the terms used for any kind of sexual activity and was shocked to discover that his adolescent class knew more words/terms than he did.
I am a child of the sixties – sex and drugs and rock and roll – and a broad-minded grandmother, but was particularly sickened by nugget – which apparently, pretty much the whole class recognised but not the teacher.
I am not happy about censorship, although obviously concerned about the protection of children.
What I am saying is WHERE THE HELL DO WE GO WITH THIS?
