Morning All

Looks like we're out on a limb here - it's still, very overcast and dreary here!

Just got back from the pop-up gym in town. Love the phrase pop-up. It sounds such a trendy thing for a few bits of gym stuff hauled out in an old hall and manned by mostly retired persons. Not a bit of Lycra in sight.

Now feel invigorated enough to tackle the ironing - after a coffee and a couple of choccy bickies!

Must have been cold overnight as our heating is programmed to come on first and last thing with the thermostat set low and the towel rails were hot this morning.
Walking into town for the seafood festival today and then home for a Sunday Roast.

Good morning, we have wall to wall blue sky and sunshine. Going to see GC this afternoon, eldest is ten on Tuesday and has asked for a new beanbag for her room .... but not pink, she is so over pink and Disney princesses

Good morning everyone.
I have had a lovely lie-in and caught up with some much needed sleep. I am finishing off my cup of tea and then the summer duvet needs to go on the line to dry. The morning in Tynedale is sparkling and clear with blue sky all round. It is a bit nippy though, and DH must have felt it in the house, he has put the heating on! Nothing else planned for today. I started to crochet a scarf type thing yesterday so I may well do a bit more of that.

So pleased to report a clear blue sky here in Stockport but I have yet to see what the temperature outside is. It will be quiet today as the party next door went into the early hours so they won't be up for hours yet.

Nice and sunny here in south Manchester, too. I plan to get out in the garden later on - when my neighbours are up - and do a bit of much-needed sorting out and tidying up. The front garden usually takes much longer than the back, as all the passing neighbours/dog walkers stop for a chat. It's one of summer's small pleasures and one that I really miss when winter descends.

DH has gone off to play golf this morning, so I have the house to myself for a few hours . Think I might get on with some sewing today, finish a couple of things I'm making for my GD.

I've got fencing to finish and stock to move today, then I need to spend some hours with our charity's new Treasurer to sort out the bookkeeping and accounts.

Good morning all, a lovely bright morning here - had a good game of bowls yesterday, our team won and I received yet another small bottle of wine for the other half. Prizes are always wine, and I just do not drink - I'd prefer a small pot plant, never mind a great afternoon. Not a lot planned for the day, hope your enjoy your few days at Eastbourne nan great fish and chip shop there, and the gardens are always a joy. Enjoy your days everyone.
