The two GSs left yesterday after a week's hols with us, we are on our knees with tiredness but are so missing the two little rascals.

Blue skies and white fluffy clouds in Stamford! Lucky really as the cold weather clothes I brought smell rather powerfully of the Joe Malone perfume which was packed next to it. The bottle broke in my bag. Luckily there wasn't too much left, but I had hoped it would last until my birthday!

Off to the Rutland Bird Fair today.

Good morning everyone.
Well, the weather in Northumberland looked promising at 07.30 when I left work, but it is deteriorating quickly. Now we have lots of grey clouds and a few spots of rain.
We might go out to lunch today, and then to visit Dad. We might also go to Gretna Gateway for a mooch about. Must be home by six o'clock as I am having my hair cut then.

It's dismal in North Leicestershire. I have a couple of little jobs to do and then we are going to see DD3 and 2 of the DGC. Although we are enjoying having our house to ourselves we do miss the children. The reason we are going is that we have to collect and deliver one of DD's cakes for her. Hope we don't drop it!!

Morning all from a breezy and overcast Tees Valley.

When we cleared my parents' house earlier this year, we came across their mantle clock in a number of pieces. This clock had marked all of our childhoods and it was so sad to see it. I gathered all the bits and found a proper old fashioned clock repairer, which took some doing.

I'm thrilled to say that the clock is now repaired and I'll be collecting it today.

Good morning. Dull and windy in Brum. The sun came out briefly, so I rushed out with some washing, pegged it out and the sun went back in.
