We had quite a lot of rain overnight and the sky is still quite overcast! As it's Thursday, it must be Sainsbury's ,again, I'm off to visit mum this afternoon.

Good morning to you all, we had heavy rain overnight, which seems to have cleared the air, but it is still very grey again, hopeful that the sun might make an appearance later on. Not sure if we shall play bowls this morning, depends on the other half, he does the driving. Enjoy your days.

Good morning from a damp grey Chelmsford (you will be pleased to hear that nannotgran). We too had rain overnight though I can just detect thin breaks in the clouds or perhaps I am being optimistic.

You should all be in my corner of Northumberland. We have a lovely morning with blue sky, sunshine and light fluffy high clouds. I am going to try and get my hair cut today. I might be lucky, as my hairdresser is just on the edge of town.

Morning, dull and cloudy here in London. I was woken in the night by sound of rain, it was so ferocious, I thought it would beat it's way through the roof ( that was last year's bit of fun!)

I'm feeling less worried about my electrical problem in the kitchen and later the 'handyman' is coming to dismantle the boxed in bit to reveal the reason (hopefully) for the explosions and sparks!

gma well few miles down the road to you near Swaffham is very different after a night of heavy rain we are back to cold,grey and damp ...so if your funeral is any where near swaffham ...bring your brolly and a cardi..

Good morning all. The sun is shining and it's a lovely day in the south of Portugal. The cool breeze has dropped and it's going to be a hot one.

I heard a strange noise when I had my morning cuppa. Sounded like someone was sand papering the roof. i couldn't see anything at first then I realised that in the top field adjoining ours a whole family of visitors from the north had been roped in and were rhythmically shaking the carob trees to collect the crop.
