Good Morning Friday

Dull but still warmish. Last day of grandparent duties today and it is the first year that we have not been able to take them to the beach because of the grotty weather we have been having.

North Cheshire monsoon is still on-going. The rain is coming straight down. No incentive to go anywhere or do anything. So I won't!

Good morning. We are awash in Birmingham. It rained heavily in the night and is still doing so now.

Following my earlier post the sun has just come out in N Kent.

October-type mist this morning after the previous biblical downpours. The garden was very grateful for it. It's still very overcast and dull but dry, here on the SE Hampshire coast.

Expecting an IKEA delivery of a new duvet this morning then DD and DGC calling this afternoon to borrow the folding futon mattresses for visiting children this weekend. I'll probably tell her to keep them as they are now on the narrow side for our DGC, for whom they were first purchased.

Gentle rain is falling over my part of Northumberland. Better than earlier. I went to work at 04.00 in a downpour, standing water all across the road in places. I hope Waitrose doesn't flood, it had done in the past. DS coming for his lunch and to get his car back if the garage have finished with it.
Where have you been staying kitty? Northumberland is a very large county.

Good morning from a misty Colchester. After heavy rain yesterday evening it is a bit like a sauna here with a blanket of warm mist. Garden looks happy though.

Good morning from a grey and overcast mid Essex. We had a bit of rain last night but nothing like the rest of this part of the country has experienced. This is not unusual. Apparently Chelmsford has a mini climate which often differs from areas just a few miles away.
Nothing much interesting on my timetable but enjoy your day.

Wall to wall rain here. Going on holiday this morning, Aqua-planing down the motorway, exciting....not.

Anyone around Exmouth who can give us a little hope for better weather?

Well at last we did get some rain we had one sheet of lighting one clap of thunder at 8 o'clock last night then it started to rain about 8-30till the early hours
this morning it's very grey and humid but ive not got a lot plan for today.All this took place in north essex

Thunderstorms and hail yesterday, then the sun,about 15.00. We've had more rain overnight now it's just dull n damp.

Good morning to you all, dreary here again today, but not as close as it has been, thank goodness. The flowers looked a bit bedraggled yesterday after the torrential over-night rain, but seem to have recovered and look better for the natural watering. Not a lot planned for today, a possible trip to Sainsbury's not sure I can stand the excitement. Enjoy your days.

After a prolonged dry spell, it looks as if it rained last night. Very grey, still and a little misty this morning. Autumnal.

A quiet day for us after DD1 and family left yesterday. They came for a couple of days to pick the dogs up and it's all been a bit of a whirlwind! Quiet now. Very quiet!
