Good morning everyone from a cloudy Algarve. DH and I were woken in the night by rain.
Normally welcome, it was not much and is carrying on with just a few spits and spots all day it seems. It's still 28C and rising.
Watching the Portuguese News last night, it was full of the fact the British Prime Minister had arrived in the Algarve for his summer holiday with the family.
It went on to say how much the Portuguese like English tourists. They say we appreciate their beautiful country. We are courteous and try to learn a few words of their language, maybe only please and thankyou and how to order one or two beers but the people talking liked that we made the effort. (Apologies to the Scots and Welsh, we are all lumped in together.
)
It was good to hear praise instead of the condemnation in so many British newspapers.
Bonnie Blue the MSM should stop all reporting.
Any experience with Othello syndrome
