Good morning Sunday

Good morning everyone from a cloudy Algarve. DH and I were woken in the night by rain.
Normally welcome, it was not much and is carrying on with just a few spits and spots all day it seems. It's still 28C and rising.

Watching the Portuguese News last night, it was full of the fact the British Prime Minister had arrived in the Algarve for his summer holiday with the family.
It went on to say how much the Portuguese like English tourists. They say we appreciate their beautiful country. We are courteous and try to learn a few words of their language, maybe only please and thankyou and how to order one or two beers but the people talking liked that we made the effort. (Apologies to the Scots and Welsh, we are all lumped in together. )
It was good to hear praise instead of the condemnation in so many British newspapers.

Weather here in Torbay very overcast and dull, cooler and looks like rain Been very humid so a shower will cool things down.

Morning all, it's rather overcast in Tees Valley.

I'm hoping that the rain stays away today, we're going to a family celebration barbecue. It was such a beautiful day yesterday that, instead of making the cakes for today (Minnie Mouse cakes for great-neice's 3rd birthday), we took the dog to the beach for a long walk, then for an ice cream. I did get the cakes finished last night, but it was very late!

Beautiful start again here in N Kent. After being out and about the last few days it will be nice to do a lot of nothing today.
DH had already left for the allotment when I got up

Good morning I hope after a beautiful day yesterday tho' it's somewhat grey and dull here at the moment in Wiltshire.

All's very quiet here, lots of birds on the feeders including the Spotted Woodpecker and I'm about to go out and do some gardening.

Hope Mick's ok? Has anyone heard from him?

Lovely start to the day here in mid Essex. We have had a run of really good weather though this is a very dry part of the country.
