Afternoon All - is it two days Mick-less? I didn't get to the iPad until late yesterday - DGD2 had it to play Princess Spa etc before we went to the beach and I didn't get a look in. I hope he's ok.

The sun has just broken through here, so I'm glad I ignored the big black clouds and hung the washing out.

Ran DH to the hospital this morning for ultra sound guided liver function tests. Neither of us have a clue what this involves and of course he didn't ask, but he had to be there two hours before the appointment time, wasn't allowed to eat and had to take an overnight bag 'just in case'. All wil become clear in time!

Good day all!! I almost started this thread at about 7 am but couldn't bring myself to do it. Do hope Mick is ok.

The weather in North Leicestershire is quite bright but a bit muggy. I agree with Bellanonna, that it would be good if people would say where they are having their weather.

I've been and bought lots of goodies for DH's birthday party on Saturday. Normally we would have a big bath but decided to stick to the children and grandchildren this year as we are going away on Monday. That is still 19 of us though!

Hildaj I'm envious, some miserable little whotsit is burrowing into my tomatoes, I've sprayed them and am hoping the b....re all drop off, dead. I think it's a moth larvae (bright green, an inch or so long) not that it's any consolation

I miss Mick and hope he is okay.
Weather in Northumberland today is grey but fair, and quite warm. Where is our sun. Look at my tomatoes.

I rarely post on here but I do like to read the weather reports for different parts of the country, though I'm not always sure where " here" is referring to. My own area, South East, is dull but close.
Reason for posting now is to echo what baubles has just said and to say I feel concerned too. I know he had a blip recently and do hope he will be back soon. Some things make us feel sad even tho we don't know one another.

Isn't it strange how one can be so concerned about the wellbeing of someone one has never met and had minimal contact with.

Anyhoo here in the central belt it's cloudy and cool.

I'm going to lunch with an old school friend whom I rarely see even though we live only 20 miles apart.

It's just not the same when everyone's worried about Mick.
It's grey here in Colchester now but mild and breezy. Hope it stays dry as I have washing on the line.

Another dark and dull day here in the West Midlands. Maybe Mick is on holiday.

Good morning to you all, no Mick again, a bit worrying, just hope everything is o.k. with him. We have a fine morning again, rain in the night and a rumbling thunderstorm yesterday evening, very sticky weather. Now Nina I too am having an exciting day - I am going to the bank to transfer some money - how about that? Enjoy your days.
