Thunder storm at the moment on the High Weald.

Morning mike and good morning all. Raining cats and dogs here in Torbay really dull and overcast they give sunnier times this afternoon so fingers crossed.
Got a whole day with no appointments so will get some jobs done around the flat today... speak soon.

Rain here too and my daughter is going on a camping weekend, good luck with that haha.

The rain is here and dripping from every tree, bush and leaf - but goodness does it all smell fresh and wonderful - I really rather like it!

Yes, it's been persisting it down all morning here in Plymouth, though I think it seems to be having a break now so DH is going to take DD's lab for a walk. I have no doubt the rain will be back before long .

Oh well, we have to put shelves up in DD's house, so perhaps a rainy day is as good a day as any.

Ah, I knew something watery was happening, as the Gnome will be absent from Racing Club as he's doing the safety boat or firing the cannon or something!

Good morning everyone. Its been a bit fresher the last two days with a north wind instead of one from the Sahara. Still hot though.
We've been woken up the last couple of days with helicopters and small planes heading north overhead. I haven't heard any reports of wildfires so I hope it is only an excersise.

Going out to lunch later so a lazy afternoon planned.

Nina she always laid good sized eggs so this one was no exception. She was such a sweet natured chicken too. Now if it had been Delphine I wouldn't have been upset - she's a nasty, bullying brute of a hen.

Poor Coco, was it a particularly large egg ?

Grey today but it generally improves. If it starts off bright it goes grey. I don't Mind the despair it's the hope I can't stand as John Cleese said somewhere.

I have not been dancing like Pittcity but I still need to get my back moving properly before I try to do anything today. It siezes up in the night.

Good morning from an autumnal Colchester. Grey sky and chillier than of late. Rain due later.
Found myself dancing in Colchester Castle with the wives of Ghurka veterans yesterday so woke this morning with backache. Must get it moving today as we are going to the Athletics tomorrow too. I will wave at whitewave !

Overcast and rain. Day of playing board games with grandson. Tomorrow off to athletics in London. Getting there via river ferry and skyline so full on day!!!

Hazy sunshine here in Manchester, but I think we will be lucky to escape rain today. Just about to make a list then off to do a big shop, followed by lunch with some of my book group members.
