I wish they would sort out the télépéage so that it works over the border in Spain. It gives a funny little sigh and dies when you get to the first barrier in Irun!
We reckon that you get the annual payment back in fuel if you go through one of the very busy ones like Tours in high season. My daughter has had one for ages and they love the way people see the UK reg and assume they can't possibly have the badge, then look amazed when they go sailing through. I am surprised by how few of my French neighbours have them though; it really is a no-brainer.
It is great that they are putting in loads more of the speed limited drive-through barriers too, rather than having to stop and start again.

Burnham to tell schools in England to adapt teaching to local business needs- what do you think?

if I live that long. I love driving round the area where we live, quiet roads and lovely scenery. But I no longer dare to drive into the nearest big city (Toulouse) with all its interweaving motorways. Nearly as bad as the M25.
