We have 2 that come, but the one we favour, Skinners, made just down the road by a small family firm, only comes round on Sunday and Thursday from Easter to late October, so we don`t exactly over indulge.

We don't have any vans but when there's an offer I buy Hagan Das or Ben and Jerry for the freezer.

I can't see an ice cream van bothering with this back water - thank goodness for our freezer!

No icecream van but I'm hooked on Magnums.

No, sadly not. I love a wippy style cornet.
We have to make do with the solid stuff from the freezer.

We do have two ice-cream vans that come around at different times but they always appear when we are about to eat lunch/dinner, so we often have ice-cream from the freezer . Once in a while one will catch us at the 'right' time and I have a choc and nut sundae in a boat and OH has a whippy cornet, no flake with strawberry sauce..

No no-one ever comes here, although I do hear one in the distance at times. Yesterday I had Kelly's ice cream with a dollop of clotted cream on the topblush.
Up Roger!!!!

I'm sitting here after a snack lunch on Sunday afternoon hoping Uncle Dave the ice cream man will come along to provide us with a nice cornet (no flake). He is usually followed by Miguel's van but we don't favour his ice cream- you fall into one of two camps hereabouts and we are in Uncle Dave's - yes I know its synthetic rubbish but we only have it once in a while and it seems to go with the Wimbledon final somehow today. Have you got an ice cream man or do you make your own? I daren't - I'd eat it all. smile
