We have 2 that come, but the one we favour, Skinners, made just down the road by a small family firm, only comes round on Sunday and Thursday from Easter to late October, so we don`t exactly over indulge.

I'm sitting here after a snack lunch on Sunday afternoon hoping Uncle Dave the ice cream man will come along to provide us with a nice cornet (no flake). He is usually followed by Miguel's van but we don't favour his ice cream- you fall into one of two camps hereabouts and we are in Uncle Dave's - yes I know its synthetic rubbish but we only have it once in a while and it seems to go with the Wimbledon final somehow today. Have you got an ice cream man or do you make your own? I daren't - I'd eat it all.
