Good morning all. Fresher this morning after the storm and clearing nicely in time for GS's school fete this afternoon; and then a long walk in the woods.

Morning everyone. Storm for a couple of hours in the night but I knew it was coming our way because I had tracked it on harrigrans lightening radar site. Dog under bed - new place as it used to be in the wardrobe. A bit fresher today at the moment.

Good morning, dull and misty. Missed the storm last night, just one big rumble after midnight.
Going out for lunch and hopefully it will be better when we return.

Good morning all!

We had spectacular thunder and lightning most of the night with really heavy rain! It is still very muggy this morning!

Our DC have organised a surprise outing as part of DH's 70 birthday celebrations. When DH and I first met we used to watch stock car racing on a regular basis and DH has had a hankering to go again. So they have organised a corporate box with a buffet. All the changes often and dgc will be there - I hope it's as good as he remembers. And it's not actually his birthday till August!

After a perfect day (at last) yesterday I awoke this morning to rain lashing on the windows. Looks like it's set for the rest of the day. What a shame as I am off to some concerts at the East Neuk Festival. Def a day for wellies and an umbrella

Good morning all. Hope you're all able to stay cool/warm depending upon where you are. Just going to be in the high 80's today, so cooler than the previous week of high 90's. Sorry folks, but some rain would be very welcome.

Happy 4th of July to all. Storm overnight here in Colchester. Warm, humid and misty.

It's DDs 30th today so we are off there for a celebration barbecue. They have lots of ice !!

Good morning Gransnetters. Here it is Saturday evening, so now it is both dark and chilly, but the day has been sunny, although only 11°, and most of my laundry is dry. I am trying to summon up the energy to start ironing some of the things in the huge basket after supper. Have a good day in the UK. Good morning Mick and nina.
And good morning to everyone.
It is wet in Northumberland at present. We are to expect the sunshine at lunchtime. We'll wait and see about that. Light housework only today, so that I can watch the tennis this afternoon.
Have a lovely day all.

Morning Mick and everyone.
Sun is just breaking through. It's already hot and sticky.
We had rain in the night and thunder rumbling in the distance.
Taking the DGC to a country park today.
