Any lovely ladies ever had a thought or been interested in a younger man or had a younger man interested in you?

Bellanonna Tue 30-Jun-15 11:12:18

I could be interested, mrcurious, if still "playing"? Sorry you've had so many harsh comments. (It's their age!). I'd like to meet a nice young man of 51. I'm mid eighties. If that's old enough for you? You could come to my day centre and if it's a nice day we could walk round the garden. I don't need pushing as I am a dab hand with a zimmer. Also, it would be a great incentive for me to put my teeth in, and I've just had a nice tight perm, so no worries there. I've got some nice new stockings and a smart grey pleated skirt just waiting for such an occasion. I won't hear everything you say so you may have to shout, but I can imagine we'd have a lot of fun. No PMs thank you as I don't know how they work, but you can reply on here and my daughter (60) will help me to read it. Or have you sloped off somewhere to recover from the granny onslaught?

Be careful what you wish for, Nonnie Your wish could come true.

Nonnie Tue 30-Jun-15 10:39:53

Why haven't I had a PM from him? Feeling left out grin

kittylester Tue 30-Jun-15 09:53:35

Maybe those of us in receipt of PMs should all arrange to meet the poor man at 'get the grannies in' to deal with him. Oh no, on second thoughts, he might enjoy that too much! shock

Only in the two I've produced! I did have a lovely walk with a very, very young man a few days ago, who stumbled around in a drunken fashion and screeched "tree" at regular intervals, yes I do enjoy a date with my 14 month grandson - don't imagine that's the sort of "experience" this poster has in mind though grin

Soutra Tue 30-Jun-15 09:44:57

But shows a level of (misplaced) optimism.
I wonder if he has taken the hint? grin

Elegran Tue 30-Jun-15 09:19:09

Starting your GN membership by sending PMs to several women to ask whether they fancy a younger man is not a good introductory move.

Lona Tue 30-Jun-15 09:16:48

Some men haven't got a clue.......... grin

Soutra Mon 29-Jun-15 23:38:53

I think anybody whose opening words include the expression "lovely ladies" deserves whatever short shrift he gets!grin

Nelliemoser Mon 29-Jun-15 23:21:37

Well we have not been very welcoming. grin
He did not exactly research his market very well.
Don't mess with Gransnet women. We don't take kindly to men who think they are Gods gift to any female.

Mrcurious has gone strangely quiet....grin

FarNorth Mon 29-Jun-15 22:58:04

Don't know if I come into the category of "lovely ladies" so I won't tell you my thoughts.

ginny Mon 29-Jun-15 22:44:57

Anyone over the age of 15 wearing a baseball cap is a no no for me. My 63 year old DH is much younger and better looking.

etheltbags1 Mon 29-Jun-15 20:01:25

oh dear, I married a man 9 year my junior and some years later had a partner 5 years my junior.

Don't ask any more.

henetha Mon 29-Jun-15 19:25:16

I'm going out with a 16 year old tomorrow.... my grandson. He's lovely. smile

petallus Mon 29-Jun-15 19:19:21

No I am more interested in men my own age, or older.

I think a few younger men may have been interested in me though. One still is; he's 68! grin

Iam64 Mon 29-Jun-15 19:04:26

i am lucky enough to have a much younger male in my life. He's my latest grandson aged 8 weeks and absolutely adorable.

Ana Mon 29-Jun-15 19:02:44

I might actually be interested in a younger man. He'd have to be a lot younger than 51 though.. and better looking

annodomini Mon 29-Jun-15 19:02:05

downtoearth grin

Nelliemoser Mon 29-Jun-15 18:58:08

Kitty it could be arranged. CO2 might do the job.

downtoearth Mon 29-Jun-15 18:54:49

says puma on his hat ...is he hoping for a cougar grin

NannyGoat12345 Mon 29-Jun-15 18:30:38

Ha ha, I've just checked him over too, nah, doesn't do it for me either, just looks like Mr Magoo with glasses on.

kittylester Mon 29-Jun-15 18:14:59

Stop giving the man oxygen!

trueblue22 Mon 29-Jun-15 18:13:23

Just seen mrcuriousuk photo. Even at 51, couldn't fancy him pickled. My 67 year old DH is much sexier!

Galen Mon 29-Jun-15 18:09:14

Certainly not my type!
