Blue sky and clouds here in the Surrey Hills. A bit chilly so far.

Good morning to you all, the sun is trying to break through the clouds, and the wind seems to have dropped - although it does come back in the afternoons, I always say it changes with the tide. Not a lot planned, I do ache all over after playing bowls, and am seriously considering giving up, as I really should not play, but I do enjoy it. Another of the joys of growing old. Enjoy your days.

Wet and grey here in south Mancgester, too, but fabulous to wake up to see three fledgling blue tits making a racket on the apple tree. Parents busy feeding them, then dashing off to keep the rest of the plates spinning

It's very cloudy here in North Leicestershire at the moment.

I have loads of reading etc to do before a committee meeting next week and then I'm off to have my feet done.

Bright and calm here in East Sussex. Agricultural show tomorrow and for once it's going to be dry.
All the family coming so lots of cooking to do today. I put out a buffet and people can come and visit and eat.
Have a great weekend. I'm pleased the rail strike is off as I have to get to London Tuesday for my next eye treatment.

Grey and gloomy in Northumberland, with drizzle for good measure. Not cold though. The car said 13°c at 07.00. Something has gone wrong with the TV. All I get is the NO SIGNAL message on the screen when I put it on. Oh dear, seems like an aerial problem as everything is well plugged in.

Cloudy here in N Kent, hopefully it's going to brighten as it did yesterday. It was 20c in the afternoon

We didn't feel the earthquake here though I think DD might have where she is.

Grey and damp in Cheshire but it looks brighter than it did a hour ago. Here's hoping.

I think the best description for our bit of North Devon is "rather misty moisty!"

Dull in mid Essex too though it did look more promising earlier and even as I put that last bit in the sun has struggled through again. Fingers crossed. To a friend's this p.m. for tea and a natter.
