Good morning all.
Weather dire in Stockport it has rained a lot in the last couple of days.

We are off to see friends for 3 days with much trepidation on my part. It is the first time away from home in nearly 2 years.DH does not like any change to his very rigid routine but I am going stir crazy.

We are staying in an anonymous Premier Inn as certain aspects of his behaviour I prefer to deal with on my own,but these are friends of over 50 years so are prepared.
I hope the Leicester meeting is great fun for all.

We have sunshine and showers this morning in Northumberland, still cool though. When are we going to get some summery weather? Plenty of housework to do, so must get busy.

Good morning everyone. Lovely blue sky with a few white clouds. I hope it's a lot warmer than yesterday.
No builders again. Waiting for the plasterer. Due today but now delayed by a couple of days. Decorator due next Monday so hope plaster dries in time. Then it's carpet fitting next Friday and all done. Except for curtains etc etc.

Bright and very breezy here. DH should be going to do his weekly stint in the garden at our local NT stately pile, but we need to cut the grass before we go away tomorrow and I'm not sure he'll let me do it. I was in such pain last evening. My back/shoulders have been hurting for days and had gone into spasm. This was caused by over-knitting! Dangerous hobby knitting!
