Good morning Mick, morning all!

Wet and windy here in north Leicestershire, too, but this morning I have lots of twuddly things to do so the rain won't bother me. Unfortunately, we have a Library Management Committee meeting right at the other end of the village and there is no park in available!

Enjoy your days everyone! sunshine

Morning all.

Dull and dry at the moment but looks like the rain they forecast is about to happen.
DH should be doing one of his gardening jobs don't think he'll make it. Looking forward to pizza and cinema tonight with DD.

Good morning everyone.
Grey and dull with the wind picking up so rain can't be far away.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning. Grey here in Colchester. Garden sorted yesterday but still a mountain of laundry and ironing to tackle. Roast beef leftovers to eat too!

Good morning everyone.
We have rain in Northumberland although the sun is trying hard to break through. I will have to go to the launderette this morning, with all my washing. I was thinking of my own Nana and how difficult wash day must have been for her, no machine. She had a dolly tub and boiler in her outhouse and in 1925 she had four young children, and was expecting another. Compared to her's, my life is easy. All the same, roll on the end of the month, when I can buy a new washer.

Good morning all, I feel a bit like the weather, grey and dreary, but no doubt we shall both pick up later in the day. Will take the feeling out on the ironing. Enjoy your days.

Supposed to be having the pond emptied and filled in today, but it is pouring with rain so doubt that the chap will turn up. I feel a bit ugh about it though as I hate the thought of taking away a resource for the wildlife and I have been trying to save everything I can and putting ti into my son's pond.

Doesn't feel much like May.

Grey and wet here in mid Essex too so I shall just potter. I have some chicken breasts waiting to be turned into meals for the freezer.
Hilda when some of the young mums I know sigh and say what busy lives they lead I want to say no, my mother led a busy life without benefit of washing machine, fridge, freezer or ready meals until much later in her married life and she worked as well. That is busy.
Have a good day all.
