Opera singing 9 year old.

Amazing but a little worrying at that age .......not sure how her vocal chords will survive and surely at 9 the lungs are not fully developed?

It is interesting - I have seen it before. Her technique is excellent - her ability to go from her lower register to the highest without a "gap" is something that many adult singers struggle with. She is a natural and wonderful talent.

But....there was a young American lass of very similar talent, who was exploited by those who wanted to make money out of her - and she finished up singing bland semi-pop songs, dressed in inappropriate clothes for her age.

It is not just about forcing her voice, but also about dropping her into a high stress scenario when she is so young.

She sounds nervous and her her voice is much more forced - someone must take care of this little lass.

Vey nervous and in another clip too. Her breathing has gone to pot .. Such a shame. I hope she takes a rest from this unnecessary exposure

It sounded rather forced and unnatural to me. Singing teachers generally won't take pupils of such a young age as it can damage the voice.

Oh poor girl. She's somebody's product and looks like a breakdown waiting to happen.

Amira entered Holland's Got Talent when she was nine years old. She said her brother plays the violin and she wanted to do something musical too. She watched some videos on YouTube and heard O Mio Babbino Caro and started practising. She had had no singing lessons until then. She got a golden ticket into the live final, and the rest is history. I think she is fabulous!

She is indeed fabulous - let us hope they keep her that way!
