Retreated indoors to warm up - wearing shorts wasn't a good idea so probably scared the sun away!

Good morning folks. A dull cold morning here in South Yorkshire. Was going to go and see DD take part in the Race for Life, but had a very silly fall yesterday and feel very shaken up, so staying put. Sure she'll forgive me.

DGS was 6 yesterday and spent the day with his father at his GG's one bed bungalow with nothing to do but watching his dad fiddle with his car !!
So it's birthday tea with balloons and cake at mine today

Bright and sunny here in Wiltshire. Hope to get more gardening done today. I thought I heard a cuckoo in the distance yesterday, I haven't heard one for years.

Lovely sunny morning here in Colchester. Gardening, ironing and Sunday Roast here today.
After a few late nights and early mornings I am the only one awake here as yet!

It's dull and damp in Northumberland at present. The dog isn't happy. There is no patch of sunlight for her to lie in . It does look like it will improve though. DS coming for lunch, and then I might go to see Dad, depending on whether DH wants the car.

Good morning to you all, and likewise we have a beautiful morning, which is great because the bowls club are hosting an open fours competition today which is a full day of bowls and entertaining, so will be tired later on. We are not on duty till p.m. so early lunch then off we go. Enjoy your days.

A lovely bright morning here, am multitasking at the moment, on G'net for a few mins, eating a cooked breakfast and watching Countryfile.

Bright and calm here in East Sussex. Due to rain tomorrow so hope to enjoy today to the full.
Next Saturday is our local agriculture show. We always hope it will be dry but usually is wet.

A beautiful morning it is too. Am off with DH into town to paint and replant one or two of the flower troughs in the market place while it's quiet. It's a little town and the council have said they haven't the money to pay for flowers - so a group of us decided to do it ourselves. It seems to be appreciated.
