Bella, my thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time. When my time comes I cannot think of anything better than being in my own home with my loved ones by my side. I'm sure you will support each other and eventually look back at all the good times together.

Love Pompa.

Dear Bellasnanna. There are no adequate words to say to you in your and your families grief. Remember the wonderful man he was, husband, father friend. Love and hugs to you.

Bella flowers sad

Lindylooby Sun 24-May-15 07:54:27

Bellasnanna, heartfelt condolencies to you and your family.
make time for your grieving, don't try and be superhuman 'mum and nan' like I did.
let your feelings out and hold on to those precious memories.
yesterday, 2 years and 1 month on I packed my beloved clothes up out of the wardrobe, all to go in the loft so they are still near me.....what I am trying to say, in a clumsy way is there is no right or wrong way to grieve, everyone is different. Be kind to yourself. [Flowers] xxxx

bella, thank you for letting us know. All best wishes over the next days and weeks for you and your family flowers x

Bellasnana Sun 24-May-15 07:46:02

Again, heartfelt thanks to you all for your words of support which have made a world of difference to what has been a very difficult year or so.

My beloved husband of 34 years, my friend and soulmate, passed away peacefully at around 2am, in our bed with myself beside him cuddling him.
His suffering is over and ours is just beginning, but I am grateful for the life we had and for our four beloved children who are being so brave and supportive.

My heart is heavy right now but I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all of you. Thank you so much flowers

Hi everyone. I haven't posted on here for ages, but I do read the thread and my thoughts stay with those having to face such sadness. I partly haven't been commenting because my "heart is too full" - we've got stuff going on in our family, I have a nephew who is desperately ill with a vicious cancer, far away in a different country.

Bella I marvel at human beings - hours from death, my mother insisted on getting out of bed when she was so frail it was like walking alongside candyfloss - to brush her teeth.

Flowers to all.

You have no idea how much it means!

Nelliemoser Sat 23-May-15 23:17:09

What an awful lot of stress and sadness so many on here have been suffering lately. (((hugs))) to all.
There is nothing much else I can think of to add to what others have said.

I hope you all have a peaceful night.

You have certainly put my current angst into perspective.

Soutra Sat 23-May-15 22:48:41

Agus Sat 23-May-15 22:17:47

Galen a sad day for you. flowers

Pleased to hear Lucy's meds have been reviewed and she is feeling better. What a terrible experience for her and you.

Hope you have recovered enough to make archery tomorrow.

Agus Sat 23-May-15 22:08:56

janerowena Sat 23-May-15 21:48:28

Yes charleygirl, I know he doesn't have time, I just thought it might give him some sense of purpose.

Crafting Sat 23-May-15 21:46:10

Lona so sorry you have even more to cope with, worrying for your DS and your DGC. All we ever want for our children is that they are happy, it hurts when they are sad. ((Huggs))

Bella I hope peace comes soon now for you and your DH. Glad your DD has arrived. Thinking of you all flowers

annsixty Sat 23-May-15 21:32:50

So much sorrow, so much angst, I have my share ,so a good and peaceful night for all and a good and peaceful end to Bella's husband. It is all we can hope for,for us all.

Galen Sat 23-May-15 21:13:18

I've pm'd Bella
Today is the twelfth anniversary of the death of my DH, so I'm a bit down.
On the good side though they've stopped the drugs that were causing Lucy's suicidal thoughts and she's feeling a bit better! ( Lucy is my transgender son)
Hope I can get to archery tomorrow, I haven't been able to go for the last few weeks due to breathlessness following a chest infection and a flare up of my arthritis. I'm still breathless on effort and having great difficulty mobilising, but, I've got to try.

Bellanonna Sat 23-May-15 21:13:15

AlieOxon - I have often thought of you too in your recent very tough weeks. Nonna x

kittylester Sat 23-May-15 21:01:16

AlieOxon Sat 23-May-15 20:46:52
