Many thanks to those of you who expressed sympathy for our cancelled holiday.

Oh humbertbear, how miserable for you both. It's about 14C here at the moment, and the sun has just come out of the haze. We got to 23C yesterday, it looks as if we might do again. I'll be gardening in the shady areas, then.

Humbertbear, I hope your husband is improving and that you both manage to get a holiday later. It's so disappointing when you have to cancel one.

We have sunshine in my corner of Northumberland. It's rather windy though, and not that warm. 23° not expected here. The best we can hope for is 13°. Now I have to go and hand wash my smalls, since the washing machine is broken and we have no launderette.

It's drizzling here in N.Staffs. There's nothing positive to say about drizzle unless it's on a lemon cake.
Forecast is for sunshine later so will send that down to you Nelliemoser

Good morning. Very grey at present in Cheshire. There are signs that it should clear up a bit later.

There is a bit of blue sky showing through the grey clouds and the forecast is good . DH and I both still have a fluey bug with lots of aches, so he is cancelling his patients and I am cancelling a lunch date with 3 friends!

Let us know how your husband is Humbert. What a shame about your holiday.

Off to Zumba Gold in an hour or so. Hope to spend the afternoon sorting stuff for a car boot sale.

Overcast here in Colchester, but it was the same yesterday and it turned out glorious - we had to hunt for the factor 30 Low 20s predicted today. I will be indoors at Family History Group this afternoon.

Good morning to you all, a brightish morning here, and a PLAN to get rid of a lot of rubbish from the garage - if I can persuade the other half that we do not need it - disposed of one lot last week, so getting there.
