Good Morning Thursday

Good afternoon, it's a lovely day here, blue sky and and a pleasant breeze.

Hey - I'm about 12 miles north of manchester city centre, in a former cotton town so obviously we're used to rain and damp. I'm not long back from a walk, for which I wore thermals and an arctic type water proof. I was rather warm and the rain the sky keeps threatening us with has not yet arrived. Blissful, after the very cold, wet and windy weather we've had in recent days.

Just down the road from you, vegas and not had a drop of rain (yet?!) Hopefully, the clouds are scooting across the sky and will leave us with a fine day

A late one from me as DGC stayed last night because DD had to get her partner to the coach at 5am as he's off to Scotland. She will join him 9th June.

It's a bright sunny day here and the wind has dropped thank heavens.

Absolutely chucking it down in Manchester, and it looks set in for the day.

Took a walk tound garden and I've just got back in nearly 2 hours dont realise how quick time fly's but wether is really nice this morning in north essex

Its a lovely morning so far here in the Surrey Hills. Dropped GD off at work placement, quick sweep, hoover and grump at untidy absent teens then into the calm of the office where my desk needs a good tidy. Look through the window where the box still needs a haircut so I can see out. Later, out for coffee, pick up GD from work placement then off to vote.

Good morning everyone. It's not raining and the wind has died down a lot. Supposed to be dry today but there are some big black clouds around. Couple of roads blocked yesterday by falling trees.
Builders not here today, waiting for the windows, why can't they get on with something else then?

Have been to vote and the weather is much better today so maybe I will get to do some work in the garden. A few jobs to do indoors first though.

I can't give a weather report as I am still in bed. When I get up I shall go to vote and then look for my costume for the forthcoming concert. Three of us are singing a (hopefully) funny song so today we are getting together to practice. This evening there is a full rehearsal. If I have any time in between there is a mountain of ironing waiting.

Going to see Gary Delaney with DD1 this evening, will need a laugh after all this politics nonsense!

It's cloudy with sunny intervals so far in south Northumberland today. I have been to vote, I stopped in on my way home from work. There had been 55 people in and they had only been open 35 minutes. I look forward to the results!

We have a bright sunny day here which means I won't get as soaked going to vote as I did on the school run yesterday! My new car , approx six weeks old, appears to have its second puncture so that needs sorting out and a man is coming to mend the Sky box, so trying to fit in Sainsbury's and Mum too looks like a really tall order! Still I'm a woman - I'll cope !

And a lovely morning it is too here in mid Essex. Hope it lasts. Delivery from Sainsburys this p.m. Unpacking mounds of groceries is not my favourite pastime but I am thankful that this facility is available now that DH and I find lugging heavy bags of shopping around difficult.

Good morning to you all, we have a still morning after two days of very strong winds - I was almost blown over yesterday, and I am no lightweight. Off to the skip this morning with some rubbish I have convinced the other half we no longer need. Had great fun at the opticians yesterday sorting out his specs, he is absolutely useless at agreeing to dispose of anything, but the optician finally persuaded him that he only needed two pairs and the others he was hoarding were no use to him. Enjoy your days.

The wind has died down here in the W. Country. It was so strong yesterday that it blew my sunglassess off my face, across the pavement and onto the road. A kind young woman retrieved them for me.

It's a beautiful sun-drenched, morning here today with only a gentle breeze. A couple of thrushes are singing their little hearts out. The thrush population is growing - all those lovely little slug eaters being born!
