Submitted VAT return. YAY. Don't have to think too much about it for three months, then the usual panic to persuade DBH to do his expenses and catch up on invoicing.

Well, I opened the curtains and it was quiet bright. Then it came over very dark and a heavy shower now it's bright again ! I think it may continue this way for the rest of the day.

Garden is covered in blossom and petals from my rhodedendron that is looking far less glorious than last week.

It's bright here in North Leicestershire but there are ominous dark clouds around too! I have loads of desk work to do this morning and then I have a trip to Derby to pick up 2DGC from school. I've checked the weather forecast for picking up time and it is due to throw it down - why does it do that?
